They can do Sai again for Mileena. Plenty of characters have repeat gear items like swords, boots, gauntlets etc. It just has to do with personality. Kitana had normal and demon sai, Mileena could have normal and savage sai. Some made out of bone or whatever

Well, it's not really a cut and paste. You have to go into a Stance to access them, and the Teleport Kick is really the only true "klassic" move. Mileena never had Seeking Sai, or Gutted.

being in MK11 or not, I bet that , in MK12, Mileena will have all these special moves with sais that Kitana has in MK11 ..... wait and see, that will be the true "copy and paste" in future, haha

I've said it before, I'll say it again: all Mileena needs is her B12 string from her Piercing variation, and she'll be straight.

I'd love to see her get in, but I also wouldn't. Someone made a point to me about Cyrax earlier in the thread that it would hurt to see a character I love get piecemealed down to their bare bones. I don't want to see the bastardized version of Mileena that gets cooked up where her Roll and Telekick come in two seperate variations and her best Krushing Blows are attached to Custom Only moves. This pseudo-variation system is a forever problem, and Mileena is too iconic. She deserves better.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHO I FEEL BEST EPITOMIZES IT.
Bro. Watching Ninjakilla, the fucking PHENOM he is, go from MKX and the most insane and multifaceted Liu Kang play, and all the combos and spacing and insanity and 5X Air Fire corner kills, to literally winning majors off of just 123 and double Amp Bicycle Kick...like, I get that this game is supposed to emulate the simpler MKII experience, but at least MKII has the fallback that it was made in the damn 90's. I can't count how many fights I've watched that are 75% pokes, throws, and damage off of KB's. Oh, and D2's. All of the D2's.
I played hours and hours of Mileena in the old days because she's Daughter Box's favorite, and there's nothing this game could do for her that would make her better than her MKX or MK9 iterations. And that's not me wanting this game to be like the old games; that's me saying this game is spraying Windex on glass and watching the damn bubbles pop compared to the old games.

This borefest is going to be around for years, unfortunately. The only MK game I've ever truly disliked....and it's the one they chose to support for the longest period. With my luck, this shit will be the first MK legacy game since the 3D era.

Putting Mileena in the game would justify the endless harassment Ed and the rest of the public members of the dev team receive to include her. The only way they should put her in the game is as a 1/100 chance to replace Hsu Hao's decapitated head in Erron's intro. Just to make it clear where they stand.

I'm crossing my fingers for the MK9 rerelease at this point, but you're probably right. I'm so tired of this game and all the people pretending it isn't the weakest offering NRS has made since they were still under Midway. But hey, gotta keep those casuals happy, so it's probably not going anywhere anytime soon, and we'll never see custom competitive or the end of strike throw repeat until the money well goes dry.

I think they might have meant "validate" more than "justify" but it makes perfect sense.

If you had a toddler, and they wanted something they couldn't have or didn't need, would you give in to them after they threw a tantrum? No, you wouldn't because you'd be setting a precedent. You'd be telling them that you'd always give in as long as they threw big enough of a fit.

NRS shouldn't give into the tantrum-throwing toddlers we call the internet. If they did give them Mileena, they'd just be harassing NRS for the next character. Then the next, and so on.
