Online - you can spam kano balls, insult everyone, and still come on the forums and talk like your something big to people who know what they are talking about.

Offline - you start shouting in someones face how much of a noob they are because you just beat them, you lose your teeth.

Im not big or tough, and im sure you arent either. So if your looking for cheap thrills, easy wins and alot of running your mouth then your right at home online, but know that the second you step into a tournament you are playing a whole different game, one that you arent likely to succeed at.

i visit 4 major tournaments in a year, the last 5 years, but i main offline street fighter (ssf4 and ST)

Surely you then , the OG of fighting games and tournaments, must know about good sportsmanship first hand....

You probably already know how nobody will take you seriously if you just talk shit all day and brag about how good you are, especially in the offline scene yes?

Not only is the online scene different, the game is different too. The internet is involved, thats a hell of a lot more travel time than from just your controller to your tv. You must know that though because you played in the arcades back in 92, where the controller is stuck on a giant cabinet with a screen built onto it with no lag involved at all.

And then you see a video a few posts down in this thread of how you try to play characters online that play considerably different to the way the developers made them, because punishable moves now become significantly less punishable, and reaction times go through the roof.

I understand why you might think that online is good, and you might not have access to local competition, fair enough. But to tell me that you have visited major tournaments 4 times a year for 5 years, totalling at least 20 majors under your belt right, and to have so little respect for the community you play with by just trashing and flaming them in lobbies. Even just trolling with "online efficient" characters where you say its smooth and a good game is completely voiding your argument, balance is one thing but exploiting features unique to online when its so similar to offline in your eyes, i cant see you being worth two rounds .

On a more serious note though, are you going to be at WGC, because if you are i would love to play you, not because i want to beat you but just because i want to show you that it is actually possible to block raiden superman from full screen on reaction (Shocking right?)

Concerning WGC, I am a bit concerned because of my french kommunity, we expect 10 top FR player in this tournament. We will be really happy to meet you here. Online is for fun, offline is certainly the best way to play the game but everybody can't spend 300€ to go in Cannes.

We played more than 3 games, and to be fair you started off okay, but when i started looking like i had a clue you soon fled to raiden and kano to take advantage of the latency we were experiencing.

I stayed for a couple of sets with you, it was tiresome and you do play in a very "online" manner to describe it, but still i fought, playing all my different characters, taking the rounds where i deserved them, but when you started using upball x10 as a blockstring i really had no answer.

Despite that anyway theres video evidence of your playstyle, how its highly adapted to online play, and theres also many posts of you shit talking as well as many spectators in the online lobbies.

Not to mention your "i would beat u in offline 2 u nubz" comment, only to back down and fanboy off to streetfighter one post later.

Sorry for this being off topic too, and yes, how about i gtfo, im gone from this thread and silly argument, nothing more needs to be said that hasnt been said, if you want to play me and truly end this online warrior feud, then by all means i will see you in cannes!
