Thought I would post this to show some of Baraka moves and frames we know so far.
Considering the early build and how similar he looks from MK9 and previous games, I'm very happy by what I've seen thus far.
A lot of his staple moves are back and he has a few others to add to his repertoire.
This is obviously not part of the final design or default variation of it's applied.
Some of the moves I'm very curious about & labbing day 1 are.
B2- overhead 28F startup -5 on blk and hits half screen distance away. Leaving a sliding KD.
Blade charge- Looks like it hits high but hoping it actually hits mid has this would make it more effective this time around.
Blade Spin??? Hoping this move will return. If it does I also hope it would serve has a good AA with the ability to to still go forward or backwards without the use of MB in the half sweeps distance like in mk9. Also if amplified that it would still keep it's launching capabilities as well. As it was very very good back then to use it off of his strings to extend a combo into blade charge or Blade Spin X2 in the corner.
Spine burst- A one slot ability move. Looks like a fantastic AA move and can be used as a extention for juggles in the corner. No telling what the recovery would be right now but I would assume the knock back would still leave the characters close enough for 112, 122, 12, b31, b312 or F4+4. Which 2 of these strings can give KB for extensions I suppose. If it does which I've seen Tweedy do at the reveal. Clearly speaking on damage Baraka looks to finally be able to dish it back this around.
War Banner- is a new universal move as K&M as explained, it gives Baraka a bit of a damage boost once it's planted. If this is a universal move this will give Baraka more depth then he's ever had before.
Now he just not a regular brawler and would require more thought on how to being bit out safely to exicute good damage off strings and combos than just plant the damn thing and zone.
Baraka's base move set has remained relatively unchanged for many many games. which is also a reason why he's always been pretty much balanced but uninspiring for years.
If this War Banner move is universal and a base move set then Baraka will indeed be far more better but still quite familiar to players who's used the Tarkatan warrior since MK2.
Baraka Barrage- Looks to add ranges on his pokes both on the ground and in the air. Maybe greater hit stun? Otherwise its just extra range really.
Gutted- Like K&M have said this move when amplified this gives Baraka a real launcher and can be used as a KB. Pretty good as a one slot move!
I feel there is serious potential for this one slot move to be got to have in your arsenal. With the way meter is regulated in this game this move should be highly respected. Has it can launch time and time again but the I feel from this move string leading to KB's & FB's would make Baraka extremely dangerous. Not sure if it hits high or mid. This move looks really good to dump meter on and give yourself more opportunities for corner carry and good damage.
Finally I hope before the beta gets a released that NRS does a lil show n tell with the #1 Tarkatan demon of Outworld.
Going into detail on this amazing looking charater & showcasing his moves and specials would be Kool.
