Injustice 2 Assistant (Android App)

Hello Everyone,

My name is Kiibati and I'm a 3rd year computer science student that just got into "Android Development". I am currently developing an app for Injustice 2 that is named "Injustice2 Assistant". My app would include, frames of every character, note and forums to help every players access and save their characters information. I also plan to include more settings, combos and tech's in later builds.

The planned release date is on the 16th. I would paste the link to the google play store on this thread and I would keep updating this thread. I would not disappoint. Send me your feedbacks and bugs in either private message, in this thread or in the google play store. I ask for everyone's support :).

Not really related to the thread, but since you're a computer science student I was wondering if coding was involved, and if so which language of coding

Yes coding is involved. The language most android apps use is Java with the aid of an software called android studio which is like a developer tool and what I used. Another language that can be used is Ionic 2(has more learning requirements tho).

Very nice, I had the same idea and started something small 3 weeks ago, but wasn't able to get anywhere with it as my job got busy and i suddenly had a lot less free time.

I had a couple ideas including combos and community guides I would have added. If you're cool with discussing ideas i had a few more in mind but don't want to give you extra work load.

Sure, I would pm you.

App Update: It just took me 1 hr to write only batman's frame data, hopefully I would be able finish every characters frame data by Tuesday.

How couldn't it be involved when developing an application?

It has to be at least when things are getting little bit more complicated.

I don't understand why some would use Android studio over xamarin platform, but that's probably personal preference.

C# > Java :p

I am new to app dev:(. I kinda prefer android studio tho. feels simple.
I think I also prefer using Ionic 2 than xamarin platform but I haven't tested the xamarin platform enough to know how good it is.

FAT is a great SFV note taking app I think you could learn a lot from. IMO the best fighting game note app out there.

I use xamarin forms and platform @ work. But I'm also used to c#. Writing my thesis in c# and also all my private stuff :D.

Update: Thanks for staying with me guys, its all done now. I have rolled it out on the play store but it hasn't finished publishing. Once it does, I would paste the link.

Slept at 7:30 this morning trying to get every thing done :).

I am having problems with google play store right now. They don't like the name "Injustice 2 Assistant", It violates their rule. There must not be any thing like injustice 2 in the app name. Please give me ideas.

Just a heads up, I know that you have been working hard on this but the notations on some of the strings are wrong. Supergirl b12 is listed as b32. Also may I recommend you the notations used on tym. It's alot cleaner that way as well as look less cluttered. For instead of DN+bk3, you can just list it as db3.

Had a browse through the app, this is great work, laid out really simply and easy to read.

My only complaint is that the scrolling animation is downright awful.

Other than that, colour me impressed.

That means a lot man. I am a gonna work on that downward animation, I know it could be annoying some time. Don't forget to send me more ideas:)
