I wonder when wave 1 is done sending out its emails. It'd be cool if they would let us know when it ends and when the next wave will be.

I remember the waves for the MKXL beta were sent after they updated the beta with more characters. I got my code on the second wave. Maybe it will be the same for Injustice 2 beta.

Based on what ppl said yesterday, and looking at my mkxl beta email. I think it might be safe to say the codes dont get sent out till after 4pmCT which was 5pmET for me and a lot of others ive seen.

Still waiting on a code and checking on the hour lol. Sooooooooo wanting to play some Atrocitus. Also I'm seeing a lot of Supergirl and I can't help but think folks are playing her wrong by over emphasizing teleports at long range. Shit is mad baitable at that range. I'm thinking she should tornado and ice more often and not over use the port because folks are getting blown up already and its only the beta by being too reliant on that shit. Not like she's got the J3 Scorpion stuff to toss around with her port or anything so it shouldn't be every time you get cornered or full screen.

Once again, I'm fairly disheartened at all of this. This "open" beta wasn't open at all. I'm not complaining that I personally didn't receive a code, I'm upset that the vast majority of recipients were all big name players. That doesn't come accross as "open" in any sense of the word.

NRS, next time please just say, "Open beta to top 32 players in first wave". Then the rest of us mortals know not to bother risking getting caught on the computer on work hours.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that tym is not the bulk of injustice players. How many people got codes that just don't come here? Just look at the number of tym posters vs sales of the games.

Well if this tweet from Ed is anything to go by (and some of the other ones before this one), it seems that they are going to be sending more Beta codes today. I wouldn't be surprised if they start getting sent around 5-6PM EST like last time.

I really hope that's the case. I really don't want to have to wait a week for each wave. It would suck to get in on wave 3 which would be like 3 weeks into the beta.

No, I think that is more of the mentality of when see a game played by people at an expo or a showcase like E3 or Comic Con. We always get footage of someone mashing. At those events, top level players and scrubs alike all get an equal opportunity to test the game out. It just so happens that we always get stuck with footage of the scrubs playing instead of the top players testing it out.

In the case of a beta, especially one called an open beta, then it should be fair game to all who registered, not just the upper crust of the NRS FGC.

one; not an open beta, never advertised as such
two; plenty of non upper crust players are in, you just have no idea who they are and don't read their twitter.

Just cop to being salty you're not in the cool kids club and move on, game still comes out in May, nothing has changed.

I get that, but I'm not mad at anybody. There's always promo handouts, and then the sign ups go out after that.

Plus, if you haven't been top 8 at a major, you count as a scrub anyway. There's the best and the rest and we all know where we stand even if we don't want to accept it. These are video games demo codes, not insulin.
