Question - Cassie Cage In Injustice GAU, which character most resembles Hollywood and Grappler Cassie?

I watch a lot of MKX tournament videos about Hollywood and Brawler Cassie, specifically SonicFox, which made Cassie my main in MKX.

I just got Injustice recently, and I want to know which character is like Brawler and Hollywood Cassie, safe mix-ups but still good zoning.

Safe mixups and zoning you want batgirl, Zatanna or Killer Frost.
Thanks. I've watched a Frost vid and most of the combos used her U3 twice. I find it hard to land both without making the second just a regular J3 or mis-timing it. Is there any easier way to make it more consistent or just practice in training till I can do it like 5 times in a row?

I played injustice before mkx, and cassie felt extremely comfortable from playing green lantern

with some practice, you can learn the timing to hold UP through both kicks, and just hit 3 when needed. You might have better luck practicing this with her trait active first, so you can do 7-8 in a row by just holding UP and pressing 3 at the right times.

Or better yet, learn to sneak a S2 between each U3

Adding s2 makes her vortex combos devilishly hard though.

Practicing with trait active is a good idea at first.

For Hollywood Cassie... Uh I'd actually say Wonder Woman. She has the neutral game that Cassie has (or at least the range in her normals, not sure about her walk speed however most people in Inj walk at 0.25 speed lol). Wonder Woman also has the mixups but WoWo also has damage midscreen too which is something Cassie doesn't excel in so that's good.

The reason I don't say Batgirl or Frost for their safe vortexs is because I think Cassie having good space control with B1 is one of her most valuable tools and really make her a solid character. Wonder Woman can also do that with her lasso normals AND they don't have a hurtbox so, woo for you!

For me, Wonder Woman checks a lot of boxes. I think Batgirl and Killer Frosts (especially hers) neutral lacks which is sort of what Cassie is notorious for. But they definitely have the restand that guarentees a 50/50 and is very Hollywood esque. I also don't think any character really plays like Brawler Cassie, unfortantely.

its easy enough to do consistently after some good practice. But I guess I forgot just how many hours I've sunk into this character...
f3, u3, 2, u3, 11b2~slide, f1~grab(mb) is not easy on females, even after practice. REO was consistently dropping it when he used frost in sets.

Actually prepatch Hollywood felt more like Batgirl. After the nerf they're pretty far apart.
One thing that makes WoWo doesn't look like (prepatch) Cassie is the corner damage and her wake up options.
Batgirl doesn't lack in neutral like KF does. She has Cartwheel, B1, a good dash and jump 2.

Now that I think of it, WW has almost everything Cassie lacks. She has better aerial mobility, better way to close the distance when across the screen, and even a reflecting move.

But the thing is, Cassie's b1 is pretty much her BnB and she can follow up with pretty much whatever she wants. WW f2 is literally just smacking someone overhead with the lasso, and I believe the.only other thing you can do is press 3, which smacks them again, but knocked them back.

I actually like playing WW though, I'm able to beat Medium battle with her with no defeats. I like how her combos are very hard-hitting too. KF slide has the same utility as Cassie's b1 though, and it launches them upward for a combo. I played Batgirl and actually kind of liked her, but IIRC she doesn't have a B1-like move, maybe bat wheel.

I'm probably going to try and get better with WW, but her Sword stance feels very awkward to use.

F3 2 U3 2 U3 11B2~Slide 2~DBF2 is doable on catwoman and any other female I play regularly. Practice enough and it's 2nd nature. Maybe REO needs some more KF lab time...

Batgirl because of the half life corner combo. She also has the attitude "I'm a real pain in the ass huh?"
Batgirl actually really reminds me of Cassie. They're both just "normal" people in comparison to the rest of the cast. I mean we got girl in batsuit(which is ripped off Batman) fighting people like Superman, Flash, Sinetro, Grundy, and Doomsday.

On the other hand we have a soldier(with green kicks) fighting people like Quan Chi, Ermac, JV, and Predator.

Both "normal" people with moody attitudes.

It's up to you man. If you want a ranged move that you can hitconfirm into a combo/blockstring then maybe play Superman or Green Lantern. If you want mixups then play Batgirl or Wonder Woman. I feel like you might as well not play Frost; the only thing she has over Batgirl is that she has a more damaging vortex (with meter). Frost is still pretty free to jump back and on a read or maybe read-reaction at the right distance the opponent can stuff the slide with like a normal.

Never really tried GL. I just assumed he was like Kenshi/Ermac. I guess I'll see what he's about. Thanks. And is that Zenyatta in your profile pic?
no its a custom pic of an alien. Youll see he has pressure like cassie with his b13. and mix ups with his f3
