Im actually pissed.. Im okay with Cyrborg, Boraicho but the 2 others.. who gives a shit really! I want actual MK characters back ! Wheres Rain, Fujin, Frost, Baraka, Noob, Kabal anyone but these 2!!!

i think the general consensu is cool, except leatherface. even if they manage some cool variations, still a waste, the character flavor is plain white bread. i know nrs is in with wb, but does nrs get some sort of subsidy for putting their shitty characters in their games. i hope so, otherwise it would be a shame if it just came down to them thinking it was a cool idea.

atleast i didnt have to wait another 3+ hours to be dissapointed.

Why the fuck is Leatherface in the game? Random, and out of place, just make him like some L4D mod or some shit.

Same for the Xenomorph, If you put it in the game, you might as well have added Freddy back instead of Leatherface. Oh fuck it, someone give NRS money so they can make a horror mashfest fighting game for the casuals.

Cyborg Hybrid was kinda obvious, cmon. The Variations scream for all 3 cyborgs.

As for Bo Rai Cho, if I get another fart fatality, I will be the happiest mfer alive.

The only thing I can think of for Leatherface's variations is this:

1) Clearly a variation involving his chainsaw
2) A Grundy-esque grappler (NRS will STILL manage to fuck up grapplers with him)
3) An in-your-face brawler variation.

Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed the four new playable characters coming to Mortal Kombat ™X in Kombat Pack 2 as downloadable content (DLC) in the first quarter of 2016. The new guest characters include Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre horror film series and the Xenomorph from the classic sci-fi horror film franchise Alien. Additional characters include classic Mortal Kombat characters Bo Rai Cho, master of the drunken fist, and series favourites Cyrax, Sektor and Robot Smoke in the form of new Kombatant, Tri-Borg.

I saw the trailer, here are my thoughts:
  • Cyborg character: This is probably my favorite character in the pack. Sektor AND Cyrax + Some new cyborg = yes please.
  • Bo' Rai Cho: I don't care what anyone says, there are SO MANY other characters that deserve a spot in this game over Bo'. I'm sure NRS will redesign him and make him cool, but come on. Fujin? Noob? There are so many other characters that could have been in. Still, hopefully he will be fun to play.
  • Leatherface: Literally one of the worst picks for MKX. I don't understand what NRS is thinking. NO ONE WANTED THIS CHARACTER SO WHY IS HE IN OVER THE CHARACTERS THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT?
  • Baraka x Xenomorph: Cool idea, actually. Not just the Xenomorph, he also has Baraka's traits. However, it doesn't quite makes since canonically. It's more like a "What If" character. I would have also preferred a Mortal Kombat character and not a guest, but this pick is actually okay I guess.

I also wouldn't assume the other cyborg variation is smoke.
