I am on PC anyway, so every match is in the red no matter how good my speed is lol.
Also no Fios 'round here. Kansas City and STL do, but everywhere else in Missouri is SOL

EDIT: UPDATE. When I told my girlfriend turn off her bs and use the LTE so I can only have on my PS4 since I'm about to play I redid the test and these results came up.

On a wired connection I get around 25 down and 10up.

your ping is what would cause your lag.

this games min DOWN is 5Mb/s and UP 0.8Mb/s

on the other hand if a host of your connection has a problem communicating with a server, all those on said server will drop dramatically in Ping...what i mean by that is your ping could go from 25MS to 80-350ms which is the main cause of lag.

or if the Internet provider has issues transferring same situation.

also is caused by miscommunication between Client host and server... one stray update can bog the machine!

but as long as you are not sharing your internet with everyone and you have 5MB DOWN there should be no difference between that of 50MB internet DOWN on this game.

Keep all this in mind: i have ok internet here atm and i have issues! i had great internet a month ago and i had issues!

Keep in mind the issues were only on MKX not any other fighter i played, or any shooter i played!

someone hinted to me that i did the usual and didnt explain myself very well.

so i shall further explain:

DOWNLOAD: has to do more with updates than in game/online.

UPLOAD: has to do with uploading your vids and other things not really related to online.

the resources needed from these to involving online are minimal at best when talking online.

PING: has everything to to with Online, it is the definition of how fast you communicate between other Peers and Servers. really important in hosts/P2P

formula for Frames to MS: (1/60fps)*1000=16.67 ms

but thats banging speeds, bet you stream just fine, and movies are a breeze! how long does it take for you to upload youtube vids vs download them? say a 15min one?

this is my friends internet, and he seems to have no issues on the games he plays, but he does have some lag on MKX. btw thats my wifi on his net.

From Xbone it only takes about 10 minutes. With my laptop it takes about the same amount of time and this is all WiFi connection. Imagine if I was hardwired.
