Nothing else is safe. War god's overhead is a tight blockstring from things like f3 and b122 but unsafe itself and the mid sword which is safe leaves a huge gap.What are some war God safe cancels on block or whiff besides the 114 cancel into air throw?

You can do f1b2 but f2 is gonna give you the most damage.In War God, EX DB1 (Overhead Sword Smash) is an AWESOME launcher, but... The only thing I can seem to follow it up with is F2. Anyone got anything else they use for followups?
Ah well, I'll still use it because the presence of the second part of the attack makes it extremely difficult to react to... so it's pseudo safe for that reason alone. I just won't overuse it at this point and set it up with the full string first. Thanks for the heads up!@LeeVanDam, unfortunately, F1 cancelled into AA Grab makes you more punishable, not less. Good thought though.
Sun God's been great. Even though I'm behind on patches, none of the recent stuff really affects Kotal's gameplan. Most matches are pretty decent and I'm able to practice set ups reliably. I'm going to start working out at Yomi soon so I can travel after EVO.Hello
Just wondering, how are you Sun God players doing? What do you think of Kotal so far?
Im still behind 2 patches (?) atleast since im on the PC version.

Would be really cool to know since i've mostly seen War God when Kotal shows up in tournaments.
I gave up on Blood God since, well, it lacks most stuff a character needs.
But Sun God has that commandgrab!

Like I can not for the life of me get it right online and even some trouble in training here and there. B1, 4, ex stone/sword comes out pretty flawlessly but the former not so much. =(
I've found it easiest to press the string as quickly as possible, then you have time (feels like a second or so) to perform the special after the last hit independently. 1,1,4 has this same feature too, which is great because it lets you choose between which special move would work for the situation based on what you see versus what you may have planned to do.Random question sorry if it's been brought up.

Yes, the most common method is after F1B2. Personally, I tend to use totems pre and post combos, but the option is there.So I was watching EVO and was really happy to see Blood God make a showing but I noticed that the totems all came out in a pre-setup kind of way.
Is it possible to drop a totem in the middle of a combo? Kinda like say Quan summoning a bat or w/e?
Like I know you can EXairgrab into totem but you can not continue the combo after that can you?
are there any combo vids for bloodgod showing this?
