Im no SF4 expert but I am pretty damn sure Elena, Rolento and Balrog are not considered top tier by any means.

Nooo Saltface was my pick to make top 8 on mkx and KI and he got 9th in both.
And I was cheering for REO too.

Great performance by everyone. This top 8 looks amazing! So much character varity and major upsets. (Pig and Tom nnnnoo!!!) And kung lao definitely is going to get hit by the nerf bat.

Elena is considered top.

So, yeah, 5 out of those 10 are high to top tier characters, 2 are gimmick based newcomers and the rest are extremely solid. I don't see a single low to mid tier in there.

Well, that was one of the craziest days of tournament results I've ever seen. I don't think anyone could have predicted it would turn out like this.

Top 8 Losers is a wonder to behold, and everyone who made it through this minefield of a bracket should feel proud of themselves.

Congrats to everyone who participated; congrats to the guys who made Top 8 out of an MK-historic 1200-man-deep tourney field; and best of luck to everyone tomorrow. Love you guys.

So proud of all the people who used Mileena. All of you truly showed out today! We don't bitch for buffs and play with what we are dealt. You all made people respect her. It only goes up from here.

And congrats to all the top 8. cR is my favorite team to support so watching 3-4 of them battle for a top 8 spot was awesome. And I also loved that Ketchup or Mustard, not sure which one is which or who got in, made top 8 as their YT videos have been the most helpful things I've come across.

First EVO I've paid attention to like this and it was awesome. Every competitor gained respect from me. Can't wait for the blood bath tomorrow.

Great character diversity. Only two kung lao tempest. Boneshaper got mopped. The patches may have worked. If it weren't for DJT I'd say there was a good chance britain or canada could take it.
