I kind of wonder why REO and SonicFox are facing off when they could have played F0xy and Master VHD to keep the USA vs. Europe thing going.

It's double elimination but I still don't get how you start Sonic Fox vs REO in this.

That's the most anti-hype thing I see here. I wouldn't make them face Foxy either, because he's also one of the favorites to win this. I would put REO and Sonic Fox against those two Germans. They took the photos yesterday on site. I think its because hes smiling that we are all thrown off. Even Sonic looks more grown up.

They probably wanted to increase the likelihood of an international grand finals, best way to do that is to pit people of the same region against each other first (admittedly they did not do that in all cases)

It would be reasonable. But why Sonicfox is seeded #3 and Mitsuownes #2? It doesn't make sense.

EDIT: I get it, is from the total points. But even so, I guess the best would be wiser to make NA, EU and CIS champions the seeds 1, 2, 3 (in any given order) and go on from there
