Matchmaking was changed unfortunately, you can't decline anyone under 4 bars now also we only got the predator compatibility patch + predator. Netcode seems back to before the netcode upgrade, as a shinnok player I'm glad to have my top 10 boneshaper shinnok but it's kinda broken for everyone else.

@Gamer68 - "Fix bugs"? 3 months+ of delays to fix bugs? I think it's a bit more than just that. I just wish they'd communicate more, just a simple, "We're working hard to get it out to you" would be fine, but there's been zero information. Same goes for PC version, but we know how NRS is at communicating. I agree that the PC version shouldn't have been released if it was in such a bad state. PC just got the Pred patch, they're not being completely ignored.

We both have reason to be annoyed, but I'm past that, I have little to no interest in playing anymore.

I dont really mind to wait 1-3 days for the patch that is missing like they did wiht tanya. Im all happy for the fixed Nvidia driver which keept crashing after 3-6 ranked games.

I got the practice mode freeze in my first training session after I downloaded the patch. I wasn't using Predator.

If you know your way around windows you don't have to hard restart your computer. I'm an expert in crashes and freezes and I know how to get rid of the stuck application without restarting lel.

On the bright side, I played like a 2-hour set online and not a single crash or bug or freeze or whatever, so I'm happy.

Reporting in.I couldn't play more than 5 games without my nVidia driver crashing.Played 5 hours straight and experienced only one crash but that was when i alt tabbed and the game stopped responding.

Big improvement.

PS: to avoid the alt tab crashes,stop playing in full screen.

otherwise,all we need now is a fresh wave of players,since at most i saw 60 people online.

no i go into the /mkasset dir and rename the files CHAR and TRAIT. seems like it only works if you switch two characters and then play those two characters against each other. probably need a version that doesnt do a integrity check as well. for the record i did pay for the steam version for online play as well so dont give me the support the devs speech.

Im in a similar boat myself, I just don't feel like playing any more. It's such a hassle and headache between the connection issues (I will.give them credit mine has been a lot better since a patch or two back, but still not solid by any means) frame stuttering I'm getting now (in a game where one frame matters, stuttering is a huge deal), lack of and massive delay of, important balance and bug fix patchs..

It's just sapped my motivation to give a damn. I spend more time worrying about whats going to go wrong. Or how my version stacks up vs the console (balance wise) etc than I do enjoying the game. Not to mention when I finally am able to lose myself in mkx, frame stuttering starts and gets worse over a match or two until.its unplayable and i have to restart.

Shrug. I still have some hope for mkx, but they aren't high. Until.they get shit together though, I'll be learning SFiv and looking very forward to 5.

i love 3:25 of my first predator video. the way his dreads look when hes spinning is badass. also i had AI set on very hard and i really wanted to kill that fool.

1:10 of the second video is great too that gun spinning celebration after erron black wins around is probably the best in the game.


maybe ill upload one of erron black doing the shoulder laser fatality before i retire this swap. it looks pretty cool with his gunslinger hat. also kind of curious to see erron black do predators xray i just remembered i never tried that

I'm going to try again tonight but it was pretty smooth for me last night. I did have some stages with frame rate issues though that weren't there before. the Jungle specifically was really slow for me

What do you do there? I can't view the desktop properly when it happens to me, so I can't see Task Manager when I bring it up.

It's a bit tedious. Hit ctrl+alt+delete and select task manager (not ctrl+shift+escape, you want the screen changing).

You'll probably still have a black screen but then you can press alt+tab and you'll get the task bar. Then click with the mouse on the task manager, then just highlight it with the cursor so you can get that Aero peek, use the aero peek to navigate to the MK task with your keyboard and then end the task.

Lol it's tedious if you don't know how to do it but it works.

So I must confirm that, to my dismay, the PS4 version is just leaps and bounds better than the PC version. Not only in patches, graphics, available features, and players, but also in actual inputs. I haven't played this well at MKX in... forever.

Since there's several other PS4 games I'm looking into, this purchase was very justifiable. And I got it for 400$ tax in.

I use a stick, so I would definitely say it's the game. I may be making this up in my mind, but I wasn't dropping any combos on the PS4, where on the PC version there were some considerable hiccups. The PC version never really lagged for me, but my inputs weren't consistent and I just blamed it on my abilities. Not an issue on PS4 version.
