So, I'm sure all of you know about the fiasco that was the PC launch of
Batman: Arkham Knight.
Sources are coming out saying Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment knew about the state of the PC version of the game, and chose to release it anyway because "they believed it was good enough."
This shouldn't be surprising to anyone, seeing as how
Mortal Kombat X was and is being handled by the exact same publisher.
For months now I've been saying that at the end of the day, it's not High Voltage Software's fault, or NetherRealm Studios fault, for the state of
Mortal Kombat X (PC), but rather Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment because they're the primary decision makers here; there's no way they couldn't have known the state of the game prior to launch, and simply did it anyway.
Batman: Arkham Knight is a bigger launch than
Mortal Kombat X, and WBIE messed that up royally as well because they thought they could get away with it, just like they did with
Mortal Kombat X. At least with Steam Refunds now, people were able to take a proper stand this time.
Shame Steam Refunds weren't available at the time of
Mortal Kombat X's launch.
