I actually just found that out 2 days ago after being AFK in the main menu and watching the AI fight. I went straight to training mode and tried other buttons but didn't find anything else. Is that all you can do off a wall? Other than armor for a bar

Ya its the only thing. But I also noticed from the ai doing it and it blew my mind. Kind of why I posted that.

Exactly! Mike Ross swears Makoto is good but Gootecks thinks she blows lmao. Those dudes are funny AF.

Yes. Divekicks are insanely powerful. Any character that has a mechanic that alters their jump arc is a powerful tool. It is not coincidence.

Yeah, i die laughing watching their videos, did you saw them playing MK X? Gootecks spending 3 bars in a low damage combo and Mike trying to combo d4 with the ballroll with Kano lol

Hahaha I'm looking it up now. They raaaggge so hard online. Some people think the show is faked because they lose a lot lol. Pros lose too, people.

I mean at least the majority of the dive kicks In this game are punishable, they are not really a footsie tool. They are usually used in combos or to punish something the opponent did. If anything I'd say make it so you can't dive kick when jumping backwards I'm tired of kung jin players hitting me with that.
Seriously though thats just me bein salty I think dive kicks are fine in this game.
Ill take a Kung Jin dive kicking me from half screen away to punish my projectile for a 30% combo, over a Rufus or Yun raping me in a corner for 15 seconds only to eventually get opened up, any day of the week.
With that being said no I dont think having a dive kick immediately makes you top tier.

If you get full combo damage off of a dive kick then 90% chance you are top tier. Black Adam only gets to when MB, so he's mid. Cybersubzero gets like 10% so its shiz
