Week 4 Character Salt Report

Takahashi Takeda

It would appear that just a week after his father's death, Takeda just could not go on. The Takeda community have made their feelings abundantly clear, this character is apparently fundamentally flawed and beyond saving. There is a rumour, however, of a chosen one, who will show us all that the Shirai Ryu Can. Will everyone's favourite Dr and father make the Takeda community look foolish? Only time will tell. Until then, enjoy this glorious thread if you haven't had the chance. But don't you DARE even think about posting in there if you are not a Takeda main.

Lately there has been surprisingly little crying about characters being OP. Is this game that balanced? Has the community matured? Or will that change as soon as we get balls deep into tournament season? Stay tuned to find out.

No way Jacqui doesn't share the spot, or at least take it altogether. The amount of whining about her guns the past week coupled with epic amounts of inconsistencies in her moveset takes the cake.

The thing is, I haven't felt like TYM as a whole has been complaining about her though have they? I thought it was just like random people on Gamefaq and stuff that complain about her guns.

If you can show me a thread complaining about her inconsistencies on the the same level as the one in the OP, I'll add her in.

Nah a lot of players from here were complaining too, even a couple of top players that I don't wanna name saying how if her guns don't get nerfed she'll be too godly in a couple of months and everyone will regret it. They were saying it as they actually play characters like Kung Jin and Sub-zero.

The inconsistencies were from Jacqui players only, but definitely not on the same page as Takeda's "death" lol. True.

Yeah I do actually remember seeing Wound say about them now. Not enough of a general consensus for my liking though.

the problem isnt against public random, the problem is in tournaments. he will not be viable at all in tournaments once people learn the match ups

I hate takeda one week, figure out some tech, love him the next week, opponents figure out the tech, then hate him again.
I'm gonna stick with him. I've got crazy mixups with him now and I believe in the future the few minor problems he has will be worked out. I'm looking forward to wrecking shit with this character
