Are people just trying to create fake story lines? Please name the people who actually said sonic fox is a bad fighting game player? He was great at mk9 great at injustice and will probably be great at this too. If you played against him in mk9 especially the last couple of years you would know how good he is.

This website IS for competitive players, and for those who want to start in the scene. Not for filthy casuals.

I'm going through the stream archive now.

My first impression, is the fights look AMAZING. It actually looks like a choreographed kung-fu flick.

Alot of fighting games have mechanics with certain gameplay purposes, but they make it look weird and awkward. Like dash-blocking in MK9 kinda made it look clunky, and how Street Fighter footsies look like punching-air randomly, and how Tekken's korean backdashing looks like the characters are trying to dance while having an epileptic seizure.

From what I can see, MKX just looks so fluid. You don't even think that it's two players controlling the characters. It really just looks like a well-choreographed fight. It's amazing.

I didn't ask you to like it nor understand it, that's your problem. I see something being done about it in the future. The damn guy does 40% off of one freaking hit to start a combo. If it turns out that nothing is done about, I just won't play online. I hate having to counter pick just to give myself a slightly better chance against a character like that. Scorpion was nowhere near this powerful in MK9. He really is shaping up to be the new Kabal.

Erron has strings that will still catch backdashes... This game is RUSH down and re-stand city

Fools, SonicFox makes them look stupid. Erron's 50/50s aren't even safe without meter if you're looking to get a full-combo. Pocket Sand is hella unsafe but nobody ever punished it because they've only been playing for 2 fucking days.

Let's not act like it was the 50/50s that SonicFox ultimately won with either. In Grand Finals, he won because he adapted quicker, plain and simple. MIT was using hella D4s and Sonic blew him up with a NJP every time. Sonic had the reads on wakeup EX teleport and played patiently while waiting for MIT to hang himself.

But fuck it, nerf Erron Black because there's no way SonicFox can win without him.
