With MKX quickly approaching, I figured it was time to get a fresh Indiana thread going for matchmaking purposes. I want to also inform people of the various events that we currently have going on in the area.
In Indianapolis, we have two different events to speak of: our monthly Godlike Saturdays events and our annual regional Naptown Clutch event.
Godlike Saturdays (usually) takes place on the first Saturday of every month. It is held at Tilt Studios on the top floor of the Circle Center Mall in downtown Indianapolis. It hosts tournaments for Street Fighter, Marvel, King of Fighters, various anime games, and has some Tekken players as well. And, of course, Mortal Kombat.
Naptown Clutch is our annual regional tournament. Pretty much the same games as Godlike Saturdays, but with a much larger attendance. If I remember correctly, last year's Naptown Clutch had a total of 272 different players sign up across the board.
There are also weekly sessions at a local church on the outskirts of Indianapolis that take place every Sunday afternoon. Various games are played there, with the addition of Smash Bros.
I'm a member of a few different Indiana FGC groups on Facebook. So if you're a Hoosier and want in on some of these groups, let me know!
