This movie will most likely be terrible, but Momoa looks badass. Aquaman is such an under-appreciated character. I am happy to see him finally being treated as he should. The King of Atlantis.

With the tribal tattoos it looks like they took Mamoa's lineage into account in building this version of Aquaman. Also, I thought "Unite the 7" referenced the founding members of the Justice League.

It appears that they turned the saturation down and upped the contrast, so the color in his suit, and the highlights in his hair are grey looking. I would bet that he's got blond color in there.

I think it refers to the seven seas as well, Aquaman uniting the seven founders wouldn't make too much sense imo.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the "Unite the Seven" will actually be more of a reference to uniting the members of the Justice League. I know it's a play on the Seven seas thing, but we know that the Justice League will be formed in this film and why the hell would Aquaman just be uniting the seas?? What's that going to accomplish?

It would make sense as he's the King of Atlantis and so likely has good democratic skills and probably either senses a danger that requires the unity of the superheroes or just seems their cooperating more beneficial than their conflict.

In that regard, yeah, it would make sense. I just had this thought of Aquaman as this somewhat arrogant person, hating the surfice dwellers and all that. Someone you would have to convince hard to join your group of super heroes, that's why I thought him uniting them all wouldn't make much sense.

It's a Zack Snyder film...it will be a little darker.

And that's one of the big reasons Snyder is an awful fit for DC stuff.
