(cliff-note: For maximum understandings, the following should be read in the tone close to an advertisement from Bio-Shock the video game. If you have never played Bio-Shock, then please throw out all of your call of duty discs, posters, and stuffed animals. Proceed to worship Bio-Shock instead by actually playing it, because it is superior in every way, despite it being only single player. Also play Bio-Shock 1 first, it is the best combo of gameplay and story)
Sometimes a dosage of honesty can be quite advantageous to the well-being of your state of mind. It puts things "into perspective," and can help alleviate "big-headedness." Hell, i am probably not the first person to have noticed that maybe my rage towards other characters could be simply a projection of my own repressed "self-faults" as a player. (insert condescending fake laugh here) Maybe i am feeding off some of the scrubbiness of my character too, and it's unfair to persecute others for their same habits. It's time we approach the questions honestly; "How scrubby is my character?" "Am i winning because my character is masking my deficiencies"
Well, now that's out of the way, how we do attack this question of our own character's scrubbiness honestly? On a double-pronged scale, please list the amount of your characters scrubbiness in the form of a percentage of success, with numbered reasons (keep it short it's not congress) as to why this scrubbiness number is there. Then proceed to give the opposite percentage for not scrubbiness (with numbered reasons).
NON-TLDR SECTION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Example 1: (actual figures)
Martian Manhunter
Scrubbiness level: 50%
Reasons for being scrubby:
1. safe spammable full combo teleport (because reacting to things is too hard, and screw risk/reward)
2.mb pillar (because i wanna make sure anytime you move i can get a full combo and be neutral without thinking)
3. mb orbs (because i need plus 25 from midscreen, and if you hit me i wanna make sure you run into it)
4. air-dash ( because i need to jump around all over the place and cross you up for free with my absurdly long arms, and i can mb it too... also i want to make you guess real bad on knockdown)
5.Trait (because spacing without midscreen normals is too hard)
6.free interactable and random TP crossups (because me do 100% in 2 seconds tough)
7. double hit back 3 and wakeup (because the only ways to really beat my wakeups is armor or me being a retard, but i win ARMOR almost every time because double hit back 3)
Not Scrubbiness level: 50%
Reasons for not being scrubby:
1.zoning ( because i have to be premptive with pillars and orbs and space everything correctly and also sometimes react with the pillar input)
2. much options (because i have so many options it takes a ton of practice to truly master and utilize all these options for every situations)
3.spacing (because my strategy is all about me not ever making a mistake and denying you area... which requires reads, reactions, and knowledge of moves)
4. execution (because martian has 8 zillion different hit/block confirms and goofy ass timing on low grab and it fucks me up offline/online)
ZOD:
Scrubbiness Level: 45%:
1. "hit b to win" (and get free fifty-fifties and interactables every 5 seconds)
2.back dash (because zoning characters need get out of jail free cards)
3. iafb (because i need a move that might completely deny all of your characters options and that breaks the game)
4.impossible to get in (for some... if done correctly... really)
Not scrubbiness level: 55%
1.Much executions (iafb, lasers, hitting trait and doing stuff, back forward inputs... tricky max damage stuff... hit confirming iazb/zb with mb lasers)
2. such zoning (very many tools, very many matchups, very many reads/reactions... much profit)
3. very not footsie (he need goob defense)
