You have to learn the timing which is why i repeatedly asked if you knew the matchup inside out. They can change up the timing but you have to be able to see it. Which is why vengeance said people are too lazy to go learn it. If kdz can block it you can too. And some charactersxan party f3. B13 is hard but just practice.

Joker has indisputably the best corner game. 100% 1,5 bar 1f unblockables, at least 4 ways to reset you and a move he always gets after a knockdown that forces you to move. The character has a 100% infinite vs Raven, probably Catwoman without meows and some others

Fyi b13 setups are not unblockables and 2-3 jokers really know the timing to 1-2f time window true unblockables

Lol sorry dude. I was just addressing the people who get hit with the sloppy stuff. That's why i called you guys here to verify because honestly the high execution stuff isn't seen everywhere. ive never seen high execution joker play hence why i down play. Thats why i tagged you guys because im obviously missing out on something

Bane and Doomsday have to be top 3, not just for what they can do when they corner you but how easily they can get you there too. Oh and once they get you there, oh boy.

Bane w/ dem unclashable double-armored overhead bounce cancel to stage transitions for 58% or to guaranteed interactibles for even more. Plus you're not backdashing his shit in the corner and he's ambiguously crossing you up and reversing your wakeups at will if he goddamn feels like it.

And speaking of that: Doomsday reversing everything all day every day, plus frames on whatever he does, and comboing into certain corner interactibles for pure swag factor.

Bane's got that armor, Doomsday's got that frame advantage, and you've got no chance in hell against either in the corner.

okay so just so we are clear Joker is better then Bane, who has armor on everything with moves that have crazy hit boxes and give him stupid damage, DD, who reverses your wakeups and has multiple SAFE ways of fucking you up in the corner almost all meterless, WW, who has a SAFE otg and a thousand ways to mix you up in the corner safely all meterless, BG, don't need to say much there, Superman, yeah his otg is unsafe but so freaking ambiguous that if he gets one hit you're dead anyway, Ares, who was explained earlier. Joker is definitely top 10 in the corner but to say he is the best or even top 5 is a Joke. His setups and corner game is way more avoidable then above said characters and can be dealt with easier then above said characters. The problem with this community is how lazy most of the players are that instead of learning the shit they complain about it. Why is it that as a Joker player, I can escape these corner situations? Because I know them and if everybody took more effort into learning how to dealing with it as they did complaining about it then the thoughts would be different. But what do I know, I'm a nobody. Lol Joker number 1 in the corner.
Also everybody needs to learn how to pushblock. This is one tool that hurts Jokers game.

So you're telling me that bane, with 7/11/18% damage in reads, DD who does horrible damage and just reverses wakeups is better than straight up 100%? You fucking high or something?

Good luck blocking something that is only blockable during 1 frame which is faster than you can transition from D to B. I don't care if you're blocking it online, what is lazy is Joker online not having + being unable to properly time what is an unblockable. Otherwise you could have gone to SF4 during the time there was an unblockable bonanza and placed well.

3 people I've seen who actually time the setup properly, me and From and from what I've heard Stevo.

You can pushblock it. And it's situational to set up.

She has resets that do 40%+ into combos that do 60%. Literally one wrong guess and there is your entire lifebar. Not to mention you can't wake up out of a standing reset (and she can reverse wakeups in the corner anyways)

Goodluck getting that setup every time in the corner. I've played all those characters both offline and online and that fact that they have EASIER, MORE ACCESSIBLE AND EFFECTIVE ways to keep you in the corner while making you take whats coming because they destroy wakeups especially without meter for some is what makes them better. Joker has multiple setups and they can all be dealt with and are situational to how you hit your opponent and what you are doing to get them in the corner and etc is what drops him to top 10. If everything Joker had was more guaranteed pressure and damage and etc like the other characters then he would have number one corner game. The fact that you have to choose the setup based on the situation you were given is what makes him not as good in as other said the corner. Its notnlike when he gets you in the corner he can automatically do this and that without a worry in the world like the other characters that can carelessly do shit in the corner for days. Be realistic here. His otg is amazing but can be dealt with easily.
Again a large part to why people think he is that high is because of laziness.
If people put more effort into learning his shit they would think otherwise but of course that would never happen because hes not tournament viable or really viable anywhere else other then the corner.
He is definitely top 10 in the corner and I have no order for 6-10 or the 1-5 for that matter but number 1 or better then some of them said? Lets be serious here.

He has a 3 way guess off of every hard knockdown.

You end your combo with 12 or f23 sword flip and your opponent then has to guess whether you will use F3 crossup(or non cross up), b1u2(low, can also use d1 sword spin) or b22(overhead). If you're thinking your opponent will try and wakeup out then you can MB f3 to blow up most(but not all) wakeups. He can also reverse wakeups as well so it's dangerous for your opponent to blindly wakeup.
