Best Zatanna that uses Aquaman
Since it seems like the cool thing to do now, I'm gonna make a MU chart for Zatanna.

Ares: 6-4
Aquaman: 3-7
Bane: 7-3
Batgirl: 4-6 (probably worse)
Batman: 5-5
Black Adam: 4-6
Catwoman: 5-5
Cyborg: 6-4
Deathstroke: 5-5
Doomsday: 4-6 (please don't debate this, I'm just gonna say you're wrong if you think it's even)
Flash: 5-5
Green Arrow: 5-5
Green Lantern: 7-3
Harley Quinn: 6-4
Hawkgirl: 5-5
Joker: 7-3
Killer Frost: 5-5
Lex Luthor: 5-5
Lobo: 5-5 (not enough experience)
Martian Manhunter: 3-7 (IMO her worst MU)
Nightwing: 6-4
Raven: 5-5 (probably 4-6)
Scorpion: 5-5
Shazam: 5-5
Sinestro: 6-4
Solomon Grundy: 6-4
Superman: 5-5
Wonder Woman: 4-6
Zod: 5-5

Winning: 9
Even: 14
Losing: 6

So unfortunately, she gets bodied by top tier (MMH, AM, BG) so you'll need a secondary to deal with them but you can tough it out against the rest of the cast. She does have some redeeming MUs like going even with Flash and Zod and beating both Sinestro and Bane.

The Lobo matchup I'm going to say is the worst matchup in the entirety of all injustice matchups, save for Cyborg vs. MMH. Zatanna can zone so hard core with very few worries and can teleport away from pressure. Trait wrecks Lobo, I've won matches against several good Lobo players without even having to combo, just trait and mb rings. I feel lame but it's easy tbh. Although if Lobo does get in his huge damage combos really put a hurt on. I'd say 7-3 or 6-4 Zatanna's favor.

I think the Green Lantern matchup should be 6-4, just cause he does have answers to Zatanna's game play, especially up close. But at a distance Zatanna zones out well, although a well placed rocket inbetween rings can cause trouble. I disagree with the Night Wing matchup hardcore. He can get into staff and sit full distance and ground pound over and flipping over without worrying about being punished by anything Zatanna does. Why is it her favor? Also why is Harley Zatanna's favor. She can sit back and shoot guns all day and yet still d1 punish teleport, which is equally as infuriating. Maybe these two matchups drive me up the wall and I'm not as familiar, but Laos and Op Twist have me convinced that these two are both slight favor for NW and Harley. Advice?

Okay I've said zatanna beats Harley. I've played mr mileena recently and he slows down my zoning with puppet master in between gunshots. And he use mb teleports real well

Just throw rings and teleport, nightwing can't do shit
You can ground pound inbetween rings if we don't read and do a Puppet Master. Mb groundpound catches teleport :(. And teleport leads to that damn d1 pressure where everything is plus on block... everything.

It's a solid 4-6, WW can't jump or else that up ring into puppetmaster struggle is real. Trait and fireball and running away makes the matchup entertaining :). Once she's up close though... kinda over for Zatanna.

And if you read a ground blast dash and continue to throw rings. If nw does catch you in a ground blast and flying graysons in just teleport away again. Why would Nightwing be in staff from full screen anyway?

D1 pressure that leads to nothing, sweet.

It's not horrible, just pretty damn bad. Maybe it's glitchy... but if GL throws a rocket and Zatanna teleports behind, and GL meterburns the rocket then Zatanna gets hit? Happened to me several times and I do not understand it in the slightest. But just GL pressure once he gets in, big if though.

GL actually doesn't have any answer up close. If Zatanna blocks b13 minigun, she teleports away, if he does b13 rocket, you f3 underneath it without using any reactions. And she can back dash s3 in between b13 for a full combo punish. Basically, it's a risk for GL to even do safe pressure

For NW, I can care less if he spams ground pound. I'll just levitate teleport for days and get my meter to do MB rings or MB teleports. Basically, as long as she has MB rings, she'll win any projectile trade.

The main reason Zatanna beats Harley is because she controls the interactables better on every stage. If you're fighting on a stage with close to no interactables, then it's even. If you're having trouble with gun spams, you need to learn to puppet master in between or at mid screen, MB ring toss in between.
