Sinestro can zone with trait, Sinestro can play footsies with trait (or when Batman doesn't have trait), and Sinestro CAN rush Batman down. What is stopping him? Batman's defense isn't good lol. I don't have a good d2 or anything like that. Batman's offense is great but his defense isn't. Also you have to factor in Sinestro has a meterless vortex, great d2 to stop Batman from jumping in, good corner stuff.
Like I said, debatable really hard 5-5 for Sinestro or 4-6 for Sinestro. But 3-7 is pushin it

Batman's defense is his bats and batarangs. If you see any movement, bats will either combo Sinestro or force him to block. Sinestro still can't zone much with trait because you can still use the negative frames of his zoning to release bats and get in. It forces me to use the trait and you eat 5% while I have basically wasted a trait shot. D2 isn't that good against batman unless he is jumping at around mid range. You only jump against me up close, which means that I have to randomly throw out a D2 if I think you are going to jump and if i'm wrong, I eat a combo.
My argument does not revolve around 7:3.
Well Sinestro had the pushblock into trait into shackle from the game's release all the way until after SCR. Which means Sinestro didn't lose to Batman until after SCR
