Just bought a PS4

I just bought a PS4 in the anticipation of MKX. I'm usually a PC gamer but my buddies and I decided that we would all get PS4's, mainly for MKX.

So my question is, for those of you that have a PS4, what game should I get in the mean time? I like many types of games (Mostly FPS, RPG, and Fighting games) but I hate what CoD has become so I'm not tryin to get Ghosts. It doesn't take any amount of skill compared to a game like CS:GO.

So, what do you guys and girls suggest I get so that it isn't just a Netflix box until Destiny comes out?

EDIT: I won't be buying Injustice again because I already have it on PC! I appreciate the suggestion and enthusiasm for NRS fighters though :)

FPS: Wolfenstein, Battlefield 4 (It works now lol) and actually man I enjoyed Ghosts
FG's: lol I think IGAU is the only fg for ps4
RPG's: Transistor

Here are some titles I'd recommend:

AC 4
Watch Dogs
Strider
Infamous SS
NFS Rivals

I was thinking about Watch Dogs. I resisted buying it on PC because I heard it was really buggy and horribly optimized. How does the PS4 version run?

In my opinion, the really interesting games aren't out yet, but when they do:

The Order: 1886
Bloodborne

Games for now, I'm a Wolfenstein fan, so I liked that, also some smaller download games like Octodad and Rezogun were ok.

Well...couldn't tell you because I own an xbox one, but I heard Warframe is a fun free to play game on PS4.

However, the most important thing is the net code. MK 9 tournament play was on the 360. Hopefully this console gen won't matter. MKX better run just as smooth on both platforms. That truly is the most important thing.

Fine.
You can't really trust people's opinion on AAA titles though. Like hundreds of people have bashed on the game citing glitches and complaining about the ghraphics, claiming the story line isn't good. I've personally put probably 20 hours into it, have yet to run into a legitimate glitch, think the game is beautiful, and am loving the storyline. But I'm a Chicago native so maybe I'm a bit biased.

you just kinda have to try it yourself. Otherwise your letting people steer you away from game's you might really enjoy.

I was waiting for that because damn it looks nice. Then I was just browsing eBay with my fiance after listing my PS3 and saw a PS4 with 1 minute left on it for $330..

I jokingly threw a bid out there thinking I would for sure be outbid, but I wasn't. So now it's on the way here and I'm actually really excited!

I agree with you. There shouldn't be any boundaries since it's running on UE3 and both of the consoles should be strong enough to handle it.

Very true. I was just kinda worried after reading some reviews that said it was using about 3.5 GB's of VRAM to run the game. That was a bit too much for me since my card has 2 GB of VRAM and I'm not ready to upgrade (CS:GO still runs at 400 FPS) just yet!

I was born in Chicago and am a city kid at heart but I haven't lived in a city since my Junior year of High School haha (I'm 23 :( )

Damn dude that sounds terrible. Did you try submitting a warranty claim? They shouldn't ignore you for that.

Or you could buy the accidental damage insurance for it and they will probably send you a new one.
