Returning Characters in MkX?

Who do you think should return from any previous game.
I would personally love to have ermac, noob saibot, goro

Maybe Motaro as a returning sub boss. Wish they would've made him a sub boss in mk9 before killing him in the reboot. Just wanna see how Motaro would work with all these new engines.

The only MK9 characters that have a chance at coming back are Quan, Shang, and Raiden. Sonya and Cage could potentially come back too but I doubt it since Cassie is already in.

All the minor villains will come back. None of them actually died during MK9. I guess they can kill off Kano due to the side effects of being frozen by Sub-Zero but the rest of them should be fine.

As for the heroes, it would be cool if Kenshi came back. He been around canonically for a long time and wasn't apart of MK9's story. The character has main protagonist potential. With Kenshi I would also bring back Ermac. Kenshi was the one who helped him set himself straight after Khan was defeated and taught him telekinesis. Plus, the good guys need the numbers. Cage and Sonya would definitely be back as they were the few survivors of MK9 and the story is suppose to stretch 25 years. Seeing old man Cage in Sylvester Stallone in Expendables type role would be great.

They became much more than palette swaps, my friend.

Sure they all started out that way, but they evolved into their own character. All have uniques abilities and a few have great roles in the stories.

But I'm all for new characters as long as there is a balance b/w them and returning characters. 50/50 or 60/40 in favor of returning is what I'd like to see.

Stryker and Jade seem very unlikely now unfortunately.

I really want to see Kai, Havik, Ashrah and one of the Shokans as playable (Goro or Sheeva please ).
