I grew up watching Looney Toons, Batman animated series, X-Men animated series, Rocko's Modern life ad Animes like DBZ, yu yu hakusho, Outlaw star etc. Sure they have adult jokes, references, violence in them etc. But they have never affected me in any way. I hated how it was bashed and nowadays it full of shit and the shows are shit. The point Im making is that if the subliminal messages didnt affect you in any way then why change the programming?

Batman: The Animated Series = stands alone as the greatest saturday morning cartoon of all time. Made you think, dealt with real life issues. Nothing else comes close.

LBSH, if you didn't watch DBZ on TV as you were growing up, you missed out.

The Saiyan, Frieza, Android, and Cell Saga were some of the best shit I've ever seen growing up. I've never been so hype and enthusiastic over a cartoon ever.

DBZ taught me life is fucking awesome and then it fucking sucks. You grow up and everything is awesome, you're in your 20-40s and everything is still somewhat awesome. And then you hit 60s and everything starts to fucking suck. Just like DBZ started out fucking awesome and then it fucking sucked as it got older when the Buu saga hit.

There is this cartoon of a blue cat and a brown dog, the dog was rich and destroyed the cat's house and build his own big house as result the cat started to live in the dog's loft from all episodes.

i really don't know the cartoon name, but that was a classic

The transformers cartoon(full length movie) stands out to me. That was the movie that set the bar for me. I wish i could remember the corny theme song eith the 80's hair dude. Lol, he was a huge one hit wonder type.
