Most of the Zod i have played against back dash a lot. It must be good if they keep using it like that :p

In the end you post to help the community stay informed and level up. whether they use the info to complain or get better is on them and shouldn't affect you, you only control what you chose to do with the information you collect. And to withhold the information because of people's opinions on the character doesn't do anything for anyone. To only share info with people who aren't friends with people you don't like I think is irresponsible and childish. But it is your right to do so. Just don't expect other players who put in alot of work learning about the game, to respect it.

I think it comes down to sometimes you give too much attention and response to people, when you could just be the bigger person, let them complain, and be proud of the fact that you contributed valuable information to other players.

Look, black adam prepatch backdash, OP as fuck! EVEN if you dashed forward on a read most characters still couldnt do anything about it 99% of the time.

However this is not the case with zod's back dash. Yes its good but this is a FIGHTING game. You have to make reads, take risks and you have to make guesses. I dont understand why poeple complain just because their character doesnt have a "safe" option....boo fucking hoo. If zod keeps back dashing away from you, DO something about it. if you lose, go to one of the greatest training rooms in fighting game history and learn what you can do.

Zods still good though, don't get me wrong.

You are definitely right about standing 3. That normal is so good in so many ways. I am really trying to use it in pressure more as well as a counter poke. Also 3xxlaser or 3xxlaser (backdash cancel) d4 is tough to block. So I do like that mixup.

However, f2 xxlow laser is reactable and easily interruptible. My point is to help people fuzzy/react to his mixups comfortably which is very possible for 90% of them.

Right now there are only a few people I play that can block trait rushdown well, and also make me cover his holes with trait slash to avoid being interrupted (4,f2,1,x(4)xLaser or 4,f2x(4)xLaser). Most people I just go in free styling and am guaranteed a combo lol

Honestly, his most '50-50' esque mixup is the simple dash forward f2, or dash forward d4 lol

In a few months Zod players may just be more content taking chip damage/interactables tossing, while maintain zoning presence, rather than going in for rush down. A character like Aquaman already kinda makes you play this chipping out game. People really do just need to lab Zod more, there is so much room for improvement as frustrating as it may seem right now.

I'm thinking about doing this as well. because nobody appreciate my tech. The only final thing I will show is my b3 evade guide. I will probably do this when mk10 comes out and injustice 2. I hope star fire will be in the game. The only time people will see my tech if they play me.

That what Zod do. Back dash for free. Use his Trait!!!! shot, 50/50 mix up and laser eye. Back dash, back dash and back dash shot or laser eye. Trait and do the same thing for free. Zod in the corner. Jump zod charge and do the same thing. I rather play sinestro then dealing with his BS
