Massive (40%-60%) Dmg Unbreakable KI3 Combos For Whole Cast

Hey all. I came across what I can only assume is a glitch. If you cancel a manual with instinct, that manual becomes unbreakable. To take that a step further, it still satisfies the requirement to do either an auto double, manual, or linker in between opener and ender to make the ender unbreakable. Thus making the whole combo unbreakable.

I think this could easily be fixed by making auto doubles, manuals and linkers that are instinct cancelled no longer fulfill the requirements to make enders unbreakable. I hope they make this fix as I would prefer the game to not have unblockables or high damage unbreakables.

Interesting, when I saw you tweet about this I was curious.

This is something easy for them to fix, we just need to try and find these kinds of things sooner rather than later.

Indeed, I was just showcasing impractical, highest dmg possible combos here but its easily practical to get 50% with this tech off a st.mk hit confirm with sabre, so it's ridiculous.

Ah that's weird I thought they were keeping the forums up. I saw FR make a post about how they were redoing the forums for better functionality but nothing about dropping the KI forums.

Good to expose things like this while the game is still being actively worked on, as well as get them out there incase they will be staying in.
Question though- can't they still break during the shadow moves you're doing after the manual in most of these?

No, those shadow moves are enders, so they can only be broken if done directly after an opener. It may be hard to see but there is a manual in between there

man, I hate anything unbreakable in a game where breakers and counter breakers are such a huge part of it.

Nice find, hopefully they fix it.

Gotcha. I'm still learning KI, mostly focused on trying to figure out how to make Joker good still lol. So you can't even breaker during Sabrewulf's lung/leap shadow move where you showed it there after the b.HP into manual cr.lp -> shadow leap? That's pretty intense.

Right, the leap counts as an opener (which are unbreakable by definition)

Shadow ender, yeah. It has to be an ender as anything else is still breakable

I just labbed this at lunch with Sadira. Had the AI set to break all and did Roundhouse, spin, L manual into instinct cancel. the AI broke the manual. Is there a timing that I got wrong or is it a "The AI can break it in training but in a real match it's actually unbreakable" thing. Sometimes the training mode AI is weird.

Shadow ender, yeah. It has to be an ender as anything else is still breakable
could making the damage scale heavily make this better but leave this mechanic in the game work out? like opener xx manual instinct cancel then ender should do max 20 - 25%? anything added before is fair game because you could have broken it.

Yeah, CPU can break it, human cannot. You can record the combo then try to break it to test.

You only have instinct once or twice in a match tough and you need 2 bars. I still would like to see this fixed regardless

since every character can do it, it actually doesn't bother me too much.

is there a break window if you aren't frame perfect with instinct canceling? it seems like if instinct negates breakers, it might be breakable if you instinct cancel the manual too late
