How? If the Batgirl player only uses the high/+++ ender and the low ender and saves the overhead for crouching opponents--how is it in your favor? -9 is punishable, but with only D1xSomething, save for a few characters? It also pushes you back.

Who taught you guys probability/risk? SonicFox shows everyone time and time again how broken Batgirl's cartwheel is. Imagine Batgirl players who don't throw out yolo cartwheels?
A multihitting, fast, nearly unreactable move with an overhead, low, and high (albeit PLUS) enders? It's not in your favor unless the player becomes predictable. I'm not complaining, I'm simply pointing out that there's no point in downplaying her cartwheel. You guys sound like the Trident Rush downplayers. It's silly.

What characters can't punish the low ender? Most d1~specials should at least equal the damage she'd get from hitting you with the cartwheel. If it led to an untechable knockdown or vortex I would agree with you.

Yes, you're right. I believe it does push back a decent amount and you must be point blank as most D1s have no range. Also, you've got to be DAMN good a fuzzy'ing this. If you're crouching he will likely do overhead or the kick (b/c no one punishes it)

My point is that while it's punishable, it's not reliable. And the guessing game is not in your favor.

He's a solid character but he has issues that no one acknowledges because he has big burst damage with trait even though plently of characters can get similar damage. I don't have him in my top 10 but you could make an argument for #10 but I still think there are characters with stronger cases for that spot.

I think flash is def top 10 but even if he is just outside top 10 it doesn't really matter because he can still compete with the top 3 so him being top 10 or not doesnt really matter

Considering how many characters can easily gain absurd momentum at just about any given point and win even 3-7 matchups, I don't even care about a top 5, top 10, top whatever anymore.

According to this community, Wonder Woman and Flash are marginally close that they're both in contest for that #5 spot.

Top could be 1-12 and mid could be 13-24 and bottom the rest of the cast. My $0.02.

I think the thing with Batgirl is hard to place because she just doesn't give a fuck who she is fighting with only 1 exception . It is basically 1 hit into vortex and at this point it doesn't matter who you are facing .

MMH Aquaman Zod and Batman has to at least play the matchup but not so much for Batgirl IMO.

I htink the top 5 model doesn't work for Injustice. I would accept a top 10 or maybe top 8, but after this winter tourney season I think its clear a concise top 5 doesn't exist.

mmh, superman, zod, ww, ba, zod, aqua, batman, batgirl easily "top 5" material barring their absolute worst matchups / execution / stage barriers (Which some of them don't have)
Then you have like bane, sin, flash, and lantern who would probably be top 5 if not for someone in that first list who ruins their life.
Everyone else has to have a secondary.

That's fair. It does depend on the character, though. With someone like Aquaman or Wonder Woman I wouldn't mind taking the guess sometimes, since I get a full combo off of any correct guess. For other characters you're right, it's definitely worse risk/reward but I can't agree that it's heavily in her favor. I think it's a good move, but not as godlike as a lot of people are making it out to be.

In my opinion I would say Wonder Woman is #4 and Batgirl is #5

I agree; Zod v Flash is pretty bad though IMO. He's still slept on to a degree though, a lot of people don't realize when they can counter poke/recognize when his pressure ends and almost everyone over respects his frame traps.

I think that Zod's footsie game is mediocre, his mixups are risky unless you are far away, and he has some of the worst wakeup attacks in the entire game. His back walk speed is also bottom 3. Don't get me wrong, he is definitely viable. But the top characters imo are those who have only a few and/or minor weaknesses.
