You guys realize what this means, right?

All that time spent arguing and bitching at one another (not everyone, mind you) in the threads about these two issues was ENTIRELY POINTLESS.

But who am I kidding? It was effin' entertaining, to say the least. :D

Managed to get 1% in a pushblock setup with Cyborg. :/

But..112, *push block* close TA doesn't scale the dmg from what I've tested so far.

The problem is they are not able to do that with a HOTFIX. This is all they can do without a patch. This may hurt Joker and Lex, but this is for the good of the game. The needs of the many over the needs of a few and all that.
It's perfectly possible they may be planning to implement a small patch, and the hotfix is just a temporary band-aid.

You also can't say for certain that my suggestion couldn't be a hotfix. After all, it's basically just "pushblock puts the opponent in block stun, and they remain standing"- not a very big change at all.

Also, I don't wanna see "the needs of the many over the needs of a few". If we really believed that, we would have just all agreed to just ban Batgirl until she was fixed.

We ultimately did not make this hotfix that was NRS. They are the ones who decided this would be the best for the game. The community can't decide shit besides "Let it rock." I experienced three years of "let it rock." What I was referring to is the designers not us. We are selfish as players if we were not we might still be playing MK9.

Oh so whatever combo you try after the pushblock is reduced to 0%?

I think it's kinda cool that the tech still works but does no damage. imo that's better than completely removing the tech. Because this way Sinestro can still setup his vortex or land a guaranteed interactable which is still really strong.
Yeah, the way they handled it is really cool. They didn't flat-out remove it, just nerfed the damage you could get. You still keep the tech, just now you're not killing anyone with it alone.

Did this hotfix trident rush chip and meter build?
Why would it? Not being a smart ass or anything, just curious.

I mean, I know it's ludicrous how much chip it does and how much meter it builds, but you would think that's something they'd have fixed long ago if they had any intentions of doing so.

I KNOW. I couldn't find the Doje face to put at the end so I just yolod it out.

I'm sorry, but nerfing some of the least represented characters in the game is most certainly not for the good of the game.
And LNSOCH, the last patch did wonders for this game, but there are still a laundry list of little bugs and glitches that could use a final patch to clean up if it comes to that. Perhaps we could have that conversation?
Yeah, it's a nerf, but the thing is, it's not a patch. It's a hotfix. You can only go so far with it, unfortunately. It sucks for those particular characters, but if that's all they can do with the game without patching it, you can't be that upset at them for doing so, especially when it pertains to an actual problem.

I'm very curious as to how the bola glitch just got up and removed, though, through the hotfix.

GET CITY.
How exactly does this hurt Sinestro's setup? He loses a small bit of damage from trait shot, shackles, j2 sure, but still gets a vortex off a pushblock. Personally, I think Sinestro's stuff was fine but I also think this is a completely fair adjustment.

However, this absolutely dicks Lex and that I don't agree with whatsoever. Joker too, probably?

He also has to use a trait shot... its not totally perfect. But from the viewpoint of a sinestro: "I have to use a bar and a trait shot to get a *guess* on a combo and my damage is already ass."

From my POV (rushdown) he has to use a bar and a trait shot and he'll probably use it to push me full screen... which is actually kinda what he does in general but at least I won't take damage.

BREAKING NEWS:

NIGHTWING'S OVERHEAD CROSS UP DOES NOT CROSS UP OR DOES NOT OVERHEAD. NIGHTWING'S STAND 2 INTO FLIP KICK DOESN'T ACTUALLY COMBO ON MEMBERS OF THE CAST. NIGHTWING'S HITBOXES ARE SO FUCKED THAT j1 WHIFFS ON CROUCHING OPPONENTS.

Yeah. Patch all this horseshit, but actually fixing problems? Too much work it seems. The salt is still real to me.
