Is This a Legitimate complaint or Bleh about TOs and Majors

Im so annoyed with TOs booking majors/events on National Holidays where it would definitely hinder attendance/make it impossible for some to attend

Case and point: I went today to book my return flight (Ill be up there anyway) from NJ back to Atlanta after taking a video pkg job and CHOOSING this date based on ECT dates.

I went to book the flight and then "recommended activites" came up and it was describing things to do in NJ on Mother's Day

Yes, Mother's Day. A day in which if i had not seen this recommendation id be blown up to bits and smitherins upon return. So needless to say I cant make it.


But WTF Would anyone book a major on the following days???

Easter
Mother's Day
Xmas
Thanksgiving
July 4th
Valentines Day
etc

Sorry Im just pissed and felt the need to rant. This is annoying

Isn't most of this stuff booked for convenience of the T.Os and not the convenience of the player? But I surmise that they are under assumption that a lot of players don't have tight ties with their mothers. This is the FGC after all.

I won't be playing fighting games that day. I'll be celebrating the single greatest day in history - for a week.
