WoundCowboy Wins Injustice at Frosty Faustings VI!

After weeks of hype, vendettas, challenges and good-natured competitive buildup, one of this winter's most anticipated events arrived this weekend -- and it did not disappoint. There were a lot of stories heading into the tourney, and a lot of key matches and matchups to look out for. With nail-biters, a smattering of down-to-the wire matches, and equal parts triumph and salt, FF VI delivered; and there will be a lot to talk about in the days to come.

We saw a stirring victory followed by a difficult exit for AK Glass Sword; also an incredibly intense battle between PerfectLegend and GGA 16 Bit, ending with Bit coming within a hair of advancing only to have PL snatch victory unceremoniously away. The ending of Top 8 Losers match between GGA Wafflez and GGA PimPimJim had the entire venue and stream chat screaming in amazement; and an intense battle between Emperor Max and WoundCowboy took both players to the limit.

After the dust settled, WoundCowboy made it to the top of the heap and became this year's FF champion! Congrats to Wound on breaking his 2nd place curse and dominating the field at a very competitive event.

I think the most impressive part about watching WoundCowboy is his spacing in neutral. His ability to stand exactly where he needs to be is awesome to watch.

Sinestro might still need some help, but it is very possible to win with him. His trait is a complete game changer. Literally every move, combos and specials, becomes safe when he has it. Not only are they safe, but the opponent risks eating a full combo from anywhere on screen if they do not respect his advantage. Keep working with him.
