Killer Instinct Pools for NEC XIV Released

With the big NEC 14 weekend approaching, Killer Instinct pools have been put together and are now available. This is an very important weekend for the game, as it will mark KI's first major tournament and the first big showcase of Double Helix's brand new work. Although the list will no doubt grow significantly due to on-site registrations and later entrants, here are the players who are currently signed up:

I'm surprised there are so few entrants.

I know its an exclusive game to a not so great new and expensive console, but the game is so new right now you could probably scrub out a win or two, and it's not like you need to own the game/system to actually give it a try.

I think if Xbox One supported last-generation sticks rather than pad only, you'd see more people enter for the heck of it; but a lot of those people will probably enter the day of anyway.

Ya that is a good point, not being able to use a stick is a killer.

Really shitty of MS to do what they did.

Not being to use a stick blooooows. I can't imagine playing that game on a pad.

I'll be signing up at the door! Already pre-registered for injustice only a while ago, but I wanna support this game even though I haven't put much time into it yet and am still terrible.

So hype! Understand that a lot of people haven't gotten Xbox One's yet. So once they do these KI tournaments should be much bigger. I think one of the biggest problems is the lack of an Xbox One compatible fight stick. The Mad Catz one hasn't been released yet.
