FOREVER KING looked extremely good at Youmacon over the weekend, and I'd like to give PLAYING TO W1N props for predicting his scene to be at the top of the heap prior to this tournament.

But...

Why are people not counting Rico in this debate? He's been on a roll as of late at the break standing above all comers; at this point it would be hard to say if FK is his master (somebody educate me if I'm missing something).

I'd like to throw someone from the W. Coast in there too, like Theo, Slayer, or Tyrant (among others), and maybe more from other scenes, but I think Rico and FK, now that he just took Youmacon, just stand a little taller.

To be clear, all I'm saying about the W. Coast scene is that that scene's "top player" position seems a little more contentious, and that may be because they are all just that good, or because they all are just relatively that good among their peers. IDK.

All I can say for sure is I'm excited as hell to watch NEC.

I totally agree with this. FOREVER KING is easily one of the best players in Injustice right now.
I have never understood how he can just pick up any character and play them high level (He did the same thing in MK9). It actually really impressive and you need to be just as afraid of his 'alts' as you are his 'main'.

I'm also kind of scratching my head about how everyone is ignoring Rico Suave. I don't have the benefit of having a local scene, but just from my perspective as someone who watches week to week that guy has been absolutely dominating. Honestly, if people aren't that concerned about him it makes me kind of excited if only because I'm getting kind of tired of watching him smash through the brackets week after week.
