UMvC3 - MvC3 players could NOT play with UMvC3 players. Thus, the community was split. You still had to pay for Shuma/Jill and the DLC costumes as well.

InjU - Inj players CAN play with InjU players. Thus, the community stays intact. This is a complete product for players who are on the fence about getting the game or Inj players who want the complete product for convenience and/or all the DLC content.

It's not the same thing. You're omitting important information.

As a competitive player if you were planning on playing MvC3 you were forced to buy the new version because that would be tournament standard. For IGAU you're not forced to purchase the new edition because it's just a bundle of the existing version and DLC releases.

I can't see people buying this a second time. It died pretty much except the hardcore gamers and the people who bought it once won't buy it again if they are just casuals.

I hope these are brand new skins never-before-seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bundle of the iOS, Arrow, and Flaming Carrot skins not yet released.
Hoping for at least Captain Marvel, Robin (original and Tim Drake), Red Robin, and Batgirl (Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown) skins, but who knows?

Either way, we got a ton more DLC for this game than I was ever expecting, and I'm just sad to see it stop, if that is indeed what's happening.

I'll just keep hoping they make some new DLC announcements somewhere around the same time the Injustice digital comic resumes release next year.

It's more for people that haven't bought it yet and would like to get it with everything included instead of messing with individual DLC.

Or for people like me that have a reason to own another version (I'd like to have it on my Vita, so I can take it with me and play it when I'm travelling).
