The majority of the cast can shut down your offense. Plus, you're not going to have a lot of opportunities to hit them for 50%. A lot of people zone him, and I have to respect them when I shouldn't. Don't believe me? Play against a Black Adam as Lobo.

He definitely losses to every character... He don't win any match up... His best match up is 5-5 and he only has like 2 or 3 5-5's how can he be higher in the tier list?

God damn the people bitching are being dumb. I'm not even savvy on the character but all this complaints are FULLY assumed extents of the buffs.

We don't know the buff on range. How the hell are you going to suddenly complain about a theoretical zoning game when you have no idea if it's full screen or a +1/10th screen.

As for nerfing zoning on top tiers...who's to say their won't be nerf/buffs to offset the loss? Or what the nerfs will entail? What if they simple change damage and the neutral zoning game is indifferent? You don't have any idea. It's all assumptions being paraded as fact.

Why would people even f213 in combos when you can f21-> pump shot or hook snatch? But after trait is loaded, preferable ender needs to be f21-> pump shot since the traited damage should be around the same as f21-> MB hook snatch. But if you're going to blow bar you may as well f21-> MB pump shot. Yesssssss

Real talk, guys are going to be getting their backs blown out by shotties now for no reason. I'll be willing to commit suicide to load nuke shells now.

And I dig the patch because it was nothing outrageous like I thought NRS was going to do. Hook charge buff is damn beefy though. It didn't even need to be an overheard lolol.

P.S. I still hoped they fixed his super. I should take people's jump button away from that range/arc when I'm sitting on a stack.

That's what the other guy said. I personally still have mixed feelings about Lobo. He looks good on paper, but NRS keeps fucking up their characters. If he has a way through armor opponents, a proper reversal, and his chain attacks fixed, he'll be fine.

Why was he not designed to fight anyone in this game ._.

Lobo is not going to turn into some zoning grappler hybrid. Calm down.

Lobo's matchups (as they stand now) are at best 5-5's. 6-4's and 7-3's flood his matchups. Also, I am willing to guarantee that Lobo's damage will stay in the early 50%'s with two shots. The scaling goes down to shit by the time he's near the 50%'s. His highest practical damage in 52%. I'm very sure at best it'll be like 54% or 55% with the next trait shot.

Lobo's patch notes sound great. I don't really care about the pump shot but 2 hits of Armour can help out for zoners and maybe Grundy WC. More nuclear shots is pretty neat.

Now, having Armour piercing properties would be nice. I don't think that's all of Lobo's patches, hopefully there are more nice things and adjustments.

Lol at people thinking Lobo will be a "zoner" now. His main "zoning" will probably only still consist of close-mid screen which is roughly:

3 : if they jump
Low hook: if they stand/dash/block high
Hook charge: if they crouch (since it's overhead now)

Well I am not sure how Lobo would do better against Grundy, still seems like a bad matchup. But most other matchups would be pretty sweet, I wouldn't mind putting some time into Lobo after this patch of course.
