Getting the Flash off you has never been more annoying, it is actually possible to backdash as their push blocking during trait with Barry's d1d2 string with abnormal properties during trait that allow you to complete the string and negates their ability to push block the first half of the string (d1) and only the latter.
Here's where lighting kick cancel comes in, d1d2 leaves you at the right range for you to back dash their burst with flash's back dash through lighting kick cancel. Allowing for; A full dash in punish, lighting charge bnb for 39 to 45%, and them probably hesitating to push block every time you safely pop the speed force out (trait). And even if they do not push block, you are at a range where specials can be phase'd or back dashed again for a punish if you decide to back dash and they just crouch block.
Or now with the added frame advantage and slow down Flash's trait grants on our poor adversary. You are left at plus 11 after the d1d2 string which allows you to go for overheads or a frame lock with d2 or d1d2 if you wish, now that they fear the push block punish, this will likely be integrated to all advanced Flash play in the future.
Here are the video examples
Quick notes: b22 into trait is +7 on block and can be punished by every super move in the game. d1d2 during trait is +11, f2 during trait is +16, and lighting uppercut(+2) and charge(+1). Full screen slide without trait is neutral on block(with trait plus 7) just wanted to toss that in here.
Tested on the Flash with me mashing push block and timing it.
