This guy was being an a-hole and wouldn't lower the price more than $20.
Basically what the guy was offering was a PS3, 2 lame kid oriented games I can't even remember the name of, 3 controllers, and 2 guitar hero-esque controllers for $200.
I was upfront and let him know that I was mainly interested in the system itself with the regular controllers.
He was willing to drop down to $180.
My issue was that he was making it seem like he was providing a hell of a lot of value ("You can access Netflix, Hulu TV etc. on the system - Gamestop is simply selling the system and 1 controller for $200 plus tax....). The guy came off kind of arrogant and really wasn't up for negotiating. It was ironic because Amazon had a number of sellers selling PS3s for much much cheaper.
I may be better off looking on Craigslist or purchasing it from Amazon. I personally felt like his expectations were a bit high for selling this system at a garage sale. On top of that it was early in the morning, my little guy was sick last night, I hadn't had any coffee, and was going off of 4 hours of sleep. Those factors probably didn't help the situation
