Nooo.. Karried, think about what you're doing
lol, you would actually be surprised how many people (top players included) hate this game on these forums. it's probably the fact that you're more on the casual side why people here will frown down upon you for speaking your mind, but what's new interwebs etc. it's just some of the issues you have with the game (like complaints about grundy/sinestro when they're not even great), and some TYM people in general are awks.Whining? So, this forum is for "Injustice is the greatest fighting game ever made, we should praise it and we should all have a Injustice: Gods Among us tattoo on our forehead yes". Whatever. I thought forums were for all people, I say something which might be contradictory and I get frowned upon. Okay then, maybe I should turn in the game.
Story Mode was interesting, I liked all the parallel universe stuff they had going on, ahhhh poor Billy.....he didn't deserve that. Story mode was good indeed, it gave you a variety of characters to use as well.I am someone who prefers MK, Tag2, and KOF to IGAU. There are legitimate issues with the game. You made complaints about zoning, and cited some examples that you should really use this games training mode to see how you can counter. Not really sure what a character like Green Lantern would do in a fighting game w/ no projectiles.
You did not like star labs thats fine, what did you think of the Story mode then? Also the Injustice comics are insanely good
The ONLY thing that will make the game better for you, is getting better at it yourself. You are in fact whining about stuff that people learned to overcome ages ago. This is a forum full of gameplay and character specific information, yet you bypass all of that and give us an ignorant review. Why would you expect anyone to respect that?Whining? Yes to everything, no to this.- Balance. Just terrible. Superman is way too overpowered, Grundy is way too overpowered.....Green Lantern is the best zoning character, Aquaman will do down 2, down 2, down 2.. Meanwhile, I have to stragle to play with The Flash, Joker, Luthor etc. Great job on that one. I see the same 4-5 characters all the time, I use Ares, Flash, Joker, Luthor and I get destroyed many times because Superman will cancel in a frozen breath from the two random hits he got in, leading to a 35+ damage combo and then full screen lasers. Isn't that fun???
The fighting game that started the trend of "Actual Fighting Games", Street Fighter II, had characters that throw things across the screen at you. And one of the original bosses, who became a playable character later on (Sagat) was infamous for doing mainly that. So I'd have to say, that argument doesn't make any sense.
Different strokes for different folks -- but there isn't 1 way to make a fighting game.
Take it as a practise and an opportinity to learn how deal with it, don't see it as the cheap move that stopped you from getting +1 win, it will not help you and only get you frustrated more. Block, dash, block dash and PATIENCE.I do that. I search videos for combos, how to get around spammers and how to avoid super armor and all that. However it's so, so extremely frustrating when someone does the same move for the whole match.....
Yeah but it's very hard to get in with him, and you can bait pretty much everything he does. Never in a match, Grundy has control over what's happening.Cossner
Thank you for the honest reply, I appreciate it. You are right about everything you said, about Grundy I mean that of off one hit he can get that 35% damage going by entering the chain grabs, it's ridiculously easy mode.....
Just think of it this way.. There are lots of things in life that are personal choices. Neither good nor bad, just a personal preference.Too much zoning spam and intractables reminds me more of an arena game than a fighting game.
McNasty's comments weren't sarcastic. The reality is that fighting games are geared toward competitive and not casual gamers. The majority of your gameplay concerns about IGAU can be addressed simply by investing time into the game in order to counter the things you've mentioned.I appreciate your input.
Go on then, you must have another smart comment to say about someone who you met for the first time 30 secs ago.

I'm just telling you these things to help you understand/grow -- but to be 100% honest, anyone who uses what you said as justification of not being a casual player, is a Casual PlayerI am not. I am not the best, but I am definately not casual. I am Lv60, I have played 1044 online matches and won 630 of them. I have over 100 wins with Ares, over 50 wins with Grundy and Flash and I am working with Joker right now. I know how to Clash, to Push Block, to Punish, to do Cross Ups, to do combos etc.
