Question Who would be interested in helping me set up a "Ultimate Nightwing Tutorial"

As all of us Dick players know, Nightwing is not a character that is easy to learn and truely be skilled with. He takes time and effort to really play him well in EVERY match up. Some match ups prefer escrima, some staff, and some both. I notice a lot of newer nightwings never play outside of staff, or escrima. They lack proper combos, set ups and actual tech. I myself do not claim to be the best with Nightwing (tho I do believe I am quite good), but I do pride myself in having proper knowledge of the character. So I had an idea.

There are plenty nightwing "tutorial videos", but a lot of them lack any true knowledge w the character besides combos and maybe a few set ups. None have any excerpts from actual match footage and I always seem to find myself never ACTUALLY learning anything. I ask myself the same questions time and time again "how does he expect us to actually begin this combo w f213?" "Who gets hit with ji2 without a proper set up?"

This is where the true Nightwing players come in. I want to create a tutorial video that covers match ups, spacing, footsies, frame traps, combos, set ups, pressure, tech, the WHOLE NINE. Of course I have my own set ups and tech i don't mind showing people, and I'm sure you guys do too. With your guys help, we can make a video like this possible. Recording it will be no problem, HD and all that good stuff. What I need is input from other skilled nightwing players. Whether it be in form of text or video, any input to help create this would be greatly appreciated. please let me know through this thread or contacting me on xbl.

Well its a buddy of mine who records for me, Apostrophise is his YouTube name if Ud like to check the quality of his videos out. What I was thinking was we organize a syllabus of some sort, organize and compile all the footage together and have someone, (or all of us) commentate over it. Maybe once we get more response we can set up some sort of meeting to organize it all?

I think this will be a great way to boost morale for the Nightwing community and show these other fuckboys that we got tech as well.

Ever since the "nerf" I barely use d1 in staff, not that its any worse, I jus want to explore the other possibilities w NW. I learn b1 in staff is fucking amazing, especially when pushing to the corner, or stopping approaches.

b1 is a great "GET THE FUCK OFF ME" tool. you can also combo of it on the corner

I'd be really interested in seeing this. I tried picking up Dick a long time ago. Since then, I've been neglecting Dick. I can't really help because I'm taking some advanced classes over summer (just saying it's not summer school), but I'd really love to see this.

I would love to help out with this ultimate tutorial for Dick Grayson. I feel like there isn't a true tutorial for him and explaining the pros n cons, footsie tools, traps, stance comparison,etc. yet again I would be willing to help out if I can

Also I propose all of us NW mains have a group Skype chat going up, it could make things easier. It's up to you guys though.

Id love to but sadly no CPU and my phone doesn't support Skype I don't think. If you could talk to some of the other well known tym NW mains that'd be great. I'm sure my word won't impact em much. Lmao. Btw I'm on tym through my fone.

I'm so glad this is all coming together so well. Itd be nice to get Sajam to be a part of this, seeing as he prolly has the biggest youtube following here, as well as a good NW.
