Metamorpho is a character that I think would make a great DLC character, he has powers that could make for some cool moves and gameplay.

Powers & Abilities:
Metamorpho is able to transmute his body in whole or in part into any element. He is able to combine and shape these elements at will. He is also capable of shapeshifting, and can reshape parts of his body and the whole at his will, including being able to stretch his body; he can also be solid, liquid or gas. His transmuted body is resistant to blunt force and energy attacks. He appears to be functionally immortal, particularly in his inert state. He is a skilled martial artist, as well as an archaeologist and a detective.

Appearance & Movement:
-Metamorpho would move a tad bit slower than average, and he'd also be slightly bigger than average, not Bane or Luthor big, but still.
-His crouch would have his lower body turn into a puddle of multicolored chemicals
-His jump would have his lower body turn into gas, his jump would be higher and floatier than average.
-To avoid confusion or unfairness when hit his body turn back to regular and his gas and puddle still have hitboxes.
-His dash has his legs turn into liquid form and he slides forward or backwards.
-He would have a double jump.
-His block would have him form a small brick wall with both of his arms and hands. OR he would turn his arms and hands into a stop sign and block with that.
-When getting up from a knockdown liquid drips and oozes off of him.
-He turns should turn into either a puddle or a statue for his KO animation.

Weak attacks:
-Standing weak is a straight jab with his left hand made out of pointy crystals.
-crouching weak, pointy golden spikes poke out of his puddle. This attack can hit on both sides and the spikes come out diagonally.
-Jumping weak, he sprays the opponent with a pepper spray-like mist that gives forces them into stun animation(this is just an animation though, the time in which you can actually follow up is shorter than the actual animation).
Medium attacks:
-Standing medium, Metamorpho turns his hand into a saw blade and slashes at the opponent, this attack is one button press but hits a quick 3 times in the same place as the saw spins.
-Crouching medium, (universal uppercut launcher) Metamorpho's non puddle parts quickly sink into the puddle before popping out vertically as a giant fist that pops up the opponent.
-Jumping medium, his lower body turns into a big spinning drill that quickly hits 3 times and crosses up without knockdown.
Heavy attacks:
-Standing heavy, Metamorpho pulls both arms a back before swinging them forward and letting out a powerful blue fire blast. Knocks the opponent away.
-Crouching heavy, Metamorpho puts both arms forward and blasts water at the opponents feet, sweeping and knocking them down.
-Jumping heavy, Metamorpho turns into an anvil and falls down with added weight. Crosses up and knocksdown.
-Forward and heavy(universal overhead groundbounce) Metamorpho turns his right hand into a giant hammer's head(something he actually does a lot for some reason) and swings downward onto the opponent as if they were a nail.
-Back and heavy(universal wall bounce and stage transition) Metamorpho does a quick charging-up animation before combusting(exploding) knocking the opponent into and off of the wall, he quickly reforms before they fly back towards him so he can follow up. OR he could turn his lower body into a goop or liquid form, his hands into giant maces, and do a quick spinning attack.
Command Combos:
-Glass punches: foward medium, forward medium. His arms turn into hard glass. The first punch is downward, his arm breaks, the second punch is an uppercut, that one also breaks. Both on hit connection, they won't break on block.
-Acid kick: back medium. He does a side kick with his leg in the form of acid, it does a bit of damage over time.
-Blade combo: back light, back light, heavy. His hands turn into sharp blades and his arms become noodly and flexible, he does a spinning attack to the right for the first hit and a spinning attack to the left for a second. The final hit has him swing both arms together for a powerful two hitting strike. All hits have ice effects but don't actually have ice traits.
Blade combo v2: back light, back light, down medium: First two hits are the same, last hit has both arms come together and deliver a downward blast of water that hits low and knocks down.
-Explosive punch: forward light, heavy. Metamorpho's fist is covered in some sort of gas as he does a forward punching attack, follow up with heavy only on hit connection to make the opponent explode, launching them upwards for a follow up.
-Whatever else, cant think of anything right now.
Trait:
States of matter(3-way stance change): Hold circle, left is liquid, right is gas, down is solid(the form he starts in). His normals and command combos stay the same but each form has unique special moves. Being hit will revert him back into solid state. When switching states Metamorpho does an animation, you cant just do raw switches, though the animation is short enough for you to follow up a high launcher or maybe a wall or floor bounce. Solid state does the most base damage is pretty standard, Gas state is more about zoning and far away game, Liquid state is more about rushing down.

-Diamond skin: Metamorpho becomes diamond for 3 seconds, he is fully invincible but can only use normals and cannot dash or grab. Projectiles still cause hitstun but do no damage.
-Reflective surface: Metamorpho gives himself a shiny reflective surface, projectiles bounce back to their senders doing added damage, chip and standard.
-Command grab: Metamorpho grabs the opponent, freezes them, and flails them around with a stretched arm, slamming them on the ground repeatedly(freeing the from the ice in the process) before throwing them away.
-Air-to-air throw: Metamorpho grabs the opponent, throws them directly beneath him, then turns into a large boulder and falls on top of them before turning back and jump off.
Liquid State:
-Liquid Rekka: (can be done three times consecutively)He slides forward with liquid legs, the first hit is a swing with an axe hand, the second is a swing with a hammer hand, and the third is a wave that knocks the opponent away. Depending on what button you use you will get a different final hit, light his the standard(always connects), medium is an overhead(can be blocked if guessed correctly), and heavy is a low(can also be blocked if guessed). The overhead and low both have quick unique start up animations so a good player can tell which to block for. EXing will cause the last hit to be an even bigger wave that always connects and wall bounces.
-Acid arch: Metamorpho turns into an acid puddle before doing an arching hop in liquid form, he lands a few feet in front forming another puddle before reforming(bad recovery). Slow. On hit it does some damage over time, and it also does good chip on block. EX increases the speed. This move goes about have screen and can be dashed away from, players cannot jump over the middle of the arch.
-Liquid slide: Metamorpho slides on some colorful liquid, hits low and almost completely safe on block. EX hits mid and has metamopho gross through the opponent dousing them in good and leaving them vulnerable for attack.
-Acid rain: (air only) Metamorph stops his jump, turns into a dark cloud and rains down onto the opponent, reforming behind them after the attack. Unblockable and hits multiple times. Fast enough to be usable, slow enough for enemies to be able to anti-air it if they know the timing.
Gaseous State:
-Backdraft: Metamorpho turns into a gas cloud and dashes backwards, hits opponent if they walk into on start up.
-Stun cloud: Metamorpho turns into a cloud of stunning gas and crosses through the opponent, does no damage and stuns for follow ups. Can be blocked.
-Weakening gust: Metamorpho sends a cloud of gas that removes the opponents ability to block for 3 seconds. This attack is slow.
-Gas bomb: Metamorpho throws an arching projectile that can be places at different distances, if the bombs are touched they explode(unblockable but low damdage) and they disappear after a few seconds. Only one can be placed at a time.
Gas ball: A standard projectile, weak, used more for pestering than for actual damage.

Bad Trip: Metamorpho turns one of his arms into a tentacle and grabs at the opponent(good range but actually blockable). He palms the opponents face and begins pumping a "mysterious substance" into their body. he moves off camera and the camera focuses on the victim. The background changes to some distorted dream world(the opponents hallucination) where five Metamorphos walk up in a circle and begin pummeling the opponent before jumping onto them in the form of liquid. The liquid then engulfs the victim in flames and they start to freak out as the camera pans out to reveal the floor is actually metamorpho, metamorpho then comes out of the ground(torso extending out only, his lower body is the ground) gigantic, he turns his hand into the head of a hammer, cocks it back and slams it right down onto the opponent(he's big enough for the head of the hammer to completely cover the opponent) on impact the screen shatters(an effect, it's a transition for breaking out of the hallucination) and both players are back on the normal stage, the opponent on the floor and Metamorpho laughing on the opposite side of the stage.
