Yeah it sucks, but well....it is basically getting side tournament #s at NCR. No offense to Michaelangelo or Wound Cowboy or anyone else who deserves the attention, but the MK-viewers are going to be more focused on MLG.

Wow, such small pools. Still should be an awesome tournament, regardless. Also surprised that VF5 is up there.

Well since practically EVERONE is at MLG and some people decided not to come last minuted NCR, is kinda small. I think it will have around 30+ entrants. Also, its just a 1 day event for mk9. The only matched going to be streamed will be top 3 and that is tomorow i guess once pools are done.

I don't think most people decided not to come. We were just mislead and it made it impossible to get there. Me and Chago were looking for transportation last minute, but we couldn't find anything. I was going to show up with $80 and registration is basically $70.

I'm sad that a major that would have got 50+ players the same day as MLG had to suffer. But hey, hopefully we can have better communication for the next West Coast Major.

MLG has a history of doing that, it may just be coincidence, I dont know. They did the same thing last time in Raleigh. It was the same weekend as SummerJam.

I offered my services as a t.o and dedicated stream for MK. I accepted and when the contracts came through there was a 500$ invoice attached telling me if I didnt pay within 2 days that I would not be able to help. I felt that is was wrong for someone to be charged 500$ apparently so did a bunch of my locals. I spend thousands on equipment, software and traveling not asking for a penny in return just so MK can get what I feel the stream time it deserves. I dont understand why someone in my position should be paying to help not only with work load but getting the word out to get more attendees.

And for the record I never asked a single person not to attend. That was a decision they all made on their own.
