What are people doing after a f21 on block? I want to have a medley of options and am curious if anyone has some new ideas.
I play Heavy Weapons mostly.
If it's the first match or two, I'll do a d12 the first few times to see if they are respecting the poke. Once they start blocking I will:
1) Crossover and go into mixup or another block string
2) d3, which is a low and zero on block. Then d12 (usually) if the d3 is also blocked
3) b121, 0 on block as well >> d4 if this is blocked
4) bazooka cancel into 123 strings (not a great idea, cuz you can get poked)
5) finish the 23 into 232 or 23 xxx MB overhead if they are blocking low
6) throw
7) sometimes I'll go straight into a mixup string, but not too often
8) block if i expect them to armor
9) another f21 string
10)some variation of his 12 string
11) His 11 string
12) F3 xxx overhead punch
13) d12 xxx overhead punch, gotcha grab, or bazooka cancel
I have a few more, but these are my general tendencies.
I really think most my matches are won/ lost depending on whether or not I can keep up f21 pressure successfully (eventually it will push them into the corner).
