I can't remember what it was .. but my favourite MK9 video had someone playing Smoke and the crowd was so loud yelling "OOOHH OOOHH OOHH.... OOHH OOHH OOHH" as the Smoke player juggled their opponent with (I think) Smokes 12d1 string. It was amazing.

On topic... not the best set of mk9 lol. Reo vs dizzy at Dallas , djt vs reo evo 2013, cdjr vs reo Columbus grand finals, reo vs xsmokex toryuken (I'm seriously not trying to pick all reo matches lol), cdjr vs tyrant jax mirror that happened the same night as this mirror, Blake vs Tyrant in Dallas, mit vs Detroit evo 2012, djt vs Pl at Anaheim... do I need to go on? this is just off the top of my head. Mk9 had a hype as fuck tournament run the best set isn't a 5 0 sub mirror with a baby at the end.

I really miss the klone being so diverse in terms of animations, like how It looked different depending on what Sub Zero was doing at the time of activation. It was a really nice touch that they completely removed. Hell, never mind the positioning, even the appearance of the klone in MKX is less detailed. It looks like a poorly made ice sculpture when compared to MK9's gloriously detailed klone.

That FT5 though, just madness. I remember watching PowerUp 2011 and Tom's performance was what inspired me to pick up SZ (Remember REO using Cyber Sub? lol). From then on I have been playing him almost exclusively. I still can't watch this FT5 without getting hype.
People can talk all the shit they want about Brady but he will always be the Grandmaster.

MK9 SZ is a great turtler. He's a unique character design. MKX's SZ blends with the rest of the cast more. The moves are ok in both imo, it's just the gameplay that's different.
