then please at least have the option to search for continental connections only. ive played both region-locked and non-locked injustice and i prefer locked by far. im not missing any of these laggy transatlantic sessions. As long its not region locked again.
If NRS pulls a region locked online in 2015 as like the only studio doing this nonsense they gonna lose all my respect.
Everyone else can get it right without region lock so do it too NRS...
Sony allows it. Microsoft being a douche isn't an excuse for developers.Yes they can GG is only PS4 and PS3
when MK is on Xbox too
and Xbox dont allow cross play
The devs might not think it's worth the time and money to invest in a feature that only half the player base will ever use. It might be a good marketing trick to proclaim sony has the edge over Microsoft, but that will only help sony and not NRS. So maybe NRS takes a page out of capcom's book and gets sony to fund the game for better exclusives.Sony allows it. Microsoft being a douche isn't an excuse for developers.
Don't use that word, you're better than that.retarded
Sure. But it shows that they care about players. You can use the same logic towards balance. How many players will care about balance in this game? 5%? Plus PS4 is way ahead of XB1 by sold units so it's not a half. The devs might not think it's worth the time and money to invest in a feature that only half the player base will ever use. I'd love there to be flags on people who use wireless internet rather than a direct connection so I don't need their packet loss bringing me down, but that ain't the world we live in.id rather region lock, too many people use wireless toasters for their internet connection and then complain.
id LOVE for there to be flags next to players names so i dont have to play people from iran aus etc etc
USF4 Evo 2014 Champ confirmed bread tier.I love being barely able to move against some french dude who uses a loaf of bread as a router. I think that's where the game shines the most <3
Evo 2014 champ is a champ because he won Evo 2014, an offline tournament played offline off of the line.USF4 Evo 2014 Champ confirmed bread tier.
This plus a millionI hope they get rid of the retarded region lock first. NRS are ways behind in the online department (Netcode, structure, region-locking, replay channels )
Yet those who are in favor of region locked can't think to ask the people they play where they're from? Do you really loved ranked scrubs that much, or is it just too difficult to ask the dude that's posted on your status/added you where they are from?
You misunderstood him. He's asking, to those who are in favour of region-lock, why it's so hard to just ask someone where they're from before you play them. I'm pretty sure he's in favour of no region-lock.This plus a million
I dont think thats fair to say
whatever your believes are on Online Region lock imo its not acceptable! , what if i want to play someone from TYM thats from the US i cant.
Not everybody is on TYM, and your friends are not always online or playing MK, i dont know about you i dont like hanging around dead lobbies makes the game look bad, and will push people away rather than make them stay
sure if it wasn't for "Random Scrubs" i wouldnt of found so many good players, like Obliviater, Mayjin, Salty your friend Bop
Suomi, etc, etc
So if i wanna play any of the US guys i should just get a US copy too
SF, Tekken, DOA all of the fighters dont have region lock so this game shouldn't be an exception.
you play on Live man so this is not issue for you
i personally think this is a big MUST for me
Typo 101 here sorry about that
Okay my bad if soYou misunderstood him. He's asking, to those who are in favour of region-lock, why it's so hard to just ask someone where they're from before you play them. I'm pretty sure he's in favour of no region-lock.
I don't think it's possible. Benchmark for PC version should be doable though.I'd love there to be flags on people who use wireless internet rather than a direct connection so I don't need their packet loss bringing me down, but that ain't the world we live in.
From my experience even going from "push the button to play" to using lobbies is too much work. Not even talking about finding opponents "manually".Yet those who are in favor of region locked can't think to ask the people they play where they're from? Do you really loved ranked scrubs that much, or is it just too difficult to ask the dude that's posted on your status/added you where they are from?
Oh I know there is no real way to tell who is on wireless or not until the match starts, just wishful thinking is all.I don't think it's possible.
