He could have no good anti-air, EX blade charge could have no armour, both normal and EX charges could be slower and have less range, they could be punishable by the whole cast, he could have no low....are you crying yet or just me?

No. I don't want a bad version of my favorite character. I really like Jade but I'd rather not have her if they cramp Kitaana/Mileena/Jade into 1 character. Either it's complete/fully polished character or nothing at all.

However, if by "bad" it means that the character is mid/low tier that's still acceptable to me. Again, Jade in Mk9 is a good example. She being low tier wasn't great but she was still fun to play with.

I already did that in MK9.

I already lived this trying to main Sheeva in MK9.

That said, I'd take Havik in any fashion.

Anyways, for me tiers don't really matter as I'm trench player anyways. The thing is that having my favorite character as low tier means that I won't see him played to the full potential (who would take low tier to tournaments? few people ever did). On the other hand, hipster in me won't enjoy seeing a character in every damn match, it gets boring really fast, so...
In the end I can't say that I don't really care. But I'd rather have game with variety (including on competitive level) over a game where character X is or isn't good or whatever.

Even though Kano has already been confirmed, I'd like to see Baraka too. If he's shit tier again, that's fine by me. I usually play 2 or 3 characters anyway

I'd take Sheeva or Tanya as a shitter if it meant they were guaranteed. I mained Sheeva in MK9, so being booty-butt-cheeks-tier matters to me not.

i played baraka from mk2-mk9 so my answer should be obvious, apart from MKT ive got the short end of the stick tier wise & get on with it, but least i got bit of compensation with mileena lol

i will take kanotier/igau scorpion if it means i get to play baraka in mkx

In response to the original question: If I wanted to play a weaker version of Noob, I'd just play MK9. God forbid I have three bad characters, let alone one.
