I resent the fact that the option of "definitely wont have kids" is worded in a way to make anyone sound like a dick. "Fuck you man" should be a separate answer, and give us a true option for "definitely won't have kids".

I was thinking that, actually. Probably should have.

There are times I feel "definitely won't," but then I remember I am human and those instincts might kick in someday.

It's kind of like saying "I 100% believe/don't believe in god(s)". Yet some evidence could come forth one day to sway me.

So that was left out for personal reasons, but yes, I now think I should have put it in.

Too bad I won't have kids... I would have loved them more than myself </3 but hopefully I decide to adopt kids in the future... It's one my dream and goals.

Do you want me to add that option in for you? Because I was going to vote, but the only remotely applicable one in my case would be the last choice albeit with polite wording.

Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with my parents. They made it look like so much fun to be a parent that I really can't imagine not becoming one when I'm ready. Like in the OP I feel like a big kid still and wouldn't want the responsibility of another life right now, especially when I am still trying to take care of myself. But I do know that one day I would love to take on that responsibility and hopefully raise a great person into the world. It's an interesting topic for a fighting game forum...

I dont like kids and never want any lol. Have said this since I was a kid and im a person who just never changes really. If I had kids I wouldnt take care of them properly anyway so its a good thing I choose to never have them. I also dont desire a family either or marriage. Im one of the minorities I guess with what life path/lifestyle most normal people go for.

I can respect that.

You're definitely in the minority, but who cares? It's your fucking life, right? :)

Society shoves it down our throats to go to college, get married, and have a bunch of kids, but it's just not for everyone.

I probably won't ever have kids. I always thought I probably would, but now I just think this world is too damn sick and most women are out of their minds, materialistic, money hungry, etc...

There's still a chance I guess.

I will never have or want kids for two reasons.

1.) I don't want to sacrifice my life. I don't want to stay in on the weekends and have to take care of my children, or have to waste weekends on bringing them places like Chuck-E Cheese. I don't want almost all my hard earned cash to go towards my kids. I don't want to supervise or raise my kids and watch over them almost the entire day until they're of a sufficient age. Basically, I want to make the best out of my life and enjoy it while I can since YOLO. Literally. However, there are people out their that DO enjoy raising children or WANT to just be a loving parent and it is one of their dreams or passions. But everyone is different, and that is something that I do not possess the passion for or want to chase after. One of the reasons why I will always respect my parents so much is because they sacrificed so many years of their life raising four children. I could never do it and I commend them for it. They could've had a dream house in Italy, traveled every country in the world, had the weekend streaks of their lives, but instead they chose to settle down and give that all away just to raise four other people at the age of 20.

2.) My kids would probably grow up miserable and hate me for the first 20 years. I would be insanely strict. I see my kid smoking a cigarette or something? Smack. Talking back to me with foul language? Another smack. They would need to be in bed by nine. Dress and carry themselves accordingly. I would never hesitate to smash their video games and take away their cell phones if they were to disobey. There is no "junk" food, you eat what I give you and what I choose to put in the house. Grounded to me is you don't sit in your room and weep and cry all day like a useless slob, you bring your ass into the kitchen and start sweeping and mopping until everything is spotless. Clean the bathroom, yard work, organize the house, etc. etc. And as a matter of fact, I would kick their asses out of the house in a heart beat and disown them if things came to worst and they did not want to listen to me and became like those 14 year old Jerry Springer sluts gone wild. God help my kids if they were to ever grow up and become any of those wrecks.

So yeah, that's why I don't want to have kids. A dog now? Now that is in the realm of possibility. And yeah I probably will die at a very old age all alone, but that's one of the cons of not having kids so I've learned to accept that. lolol
