G4S and SwiftZilla Charity event Results and Aftermath

This weekend was a blast! We raised a lot of money for Toys for Tots and the American Cancer Society as well as donated many toys. Just wanted to thank EVERYONE involved for making this happen. In case you missed it we had a MK9 player auction where people in the stream chat bid on what player they thought would win. If their player won, they won the fight stick of their choice! The winner was TheTruth4591 with a 30 dollar bid! Also CD Jr used Jax the entire time and brought the hype as you can see here.

I actually pulled out my Raiden here after STH counter picked me with Kenshi. Unfortunately I am so rusty with Raiden I dropped so many combos and it costed me lol

We also did side bets on input bug, meter drain glitch, and first hit during grand finals. Those bets were hype!!

Sorry I couldnt be there. Needed to be here for my dad to help him around the house. Glad to see it turned out to be a success though

You missed it though. Friday night SwiftTomHanks was going on about how good Ermac is and how he's better than Sektor etc. We told him he was crazy. By the end of the weekend, I didn't see much Ermac play happening lol. Sektor is better than Ermac LBSH

It was fun on our end but I am sorry for the stream being really shite due to us not knowing how to fully use the capture card.

Next time I guarantee 100% that we will not use a ghetto stream for MK9, KI, or IGAU.

Good thing that even though we had a ghetto stream we made just shy of $500 and donated lots of toys! Thanks a lot for watching guys!

I think people should've donated much more, but guess the Injustice community isn't just ready.

Eh, that wasn't even really talked about or in the title. I just think people don't give a shit mostly. Also I don't think our community under injustice is as close as it was in the mk9 days. Personally I don't care about the people who weren't there. The people who were and donated are the ones I would rather talk about

But regardless, like Claude said every donation counts, and any amount of people being willing to give their money toward something that matters should be considered a success.

Well we didn't even stream Injustice....so I don't blame the injustice community for not really part taking. We got caught up in the moment, mk9 took too long and by the time it was over most of us were in a drunken state. Also the stream was with a webcam which I'm sure turned people off because we all had a major brain fart.... I take responsibility for that, I should never had been discouraged by SwiftTomHanks to stop trying to figure it out.

Injustice and KI would have brought more viewers in and possibly more donations but we made the mistake of barely showing off those games on stream. But even with all that said, we got a bunch of toys donated, some great hype, auctions, almost $500 to American Cancer Society plus an awesome night. Kappy Krampus!

Even when we had injustice and KI on though we couldn't get more than 70 viewers. AND I had CD jr on stream for KI inviting people to play him online for donations and nothing... SAME with injustice KDZ was there and no one even wanted to play him online for donations. We did a podcast, multiple front pages, re-tweets by Cd Jr, Chris G, KDZ, etc and just not much love except for the awesome people from our MK community. It is what it is and I'm glad the people donated and took part. I hope they enjoyed the stream.

Good Shit to you guys for putting on the stream btw. 500$ is definitely not chump change.

So very proud of Troy, Mike, KT, Phil & Mel & everyone else who showed up, donated or just told others to watch the stream! Its been a super crazy week for me (if your a Facebook friend of mine, then you certainly know why!) so I apologize for not being as involved as I would have liked. Next time fellas, next time.
