Yeah I loved Cyber-Sub in MK9.
Him and Stryker. Only two characters I cared for. Then Cage grew up in MKX and I found my true main and reason to play an MK game.
Why do the same few people keep saying spawn.. I mean seriously. Can we just dump the idea of guest chars completely.. and even if we have to have them.. Spawn? Seriously? What is the appeal that makes this guy so popular among a few MK fans?

I'd say the main reason is Ed Boon himself said it was a possibility in a interview before the games launch and Spawn's creator Todd Mcfarlane also said he gives NRS full permission to use the character. Now I see it more likely that he will appear in IGAU2 or KP3 if that's a thing since the track record shows there's normally at least one guest per dlc set. I mean who wouldn't want Spawn over others IF a guest has to appear, the character is a legend among comic fans. What anti hero is better suited to appear in a bloodfest like MK, you do know about Spawn personally? Character has an amazing backstory, had a very long and successful comic series (very good that went places most comics wouldn't), very successful toy/action figure line and has been in several crossovers. Not to mention a live action film, animated film, HBO series, a ton of video games dating back to the SNES/Genesis. The character screams greatness with the variation system in this game as Spawn has many attributes about him that they could use. Not to mention SoulCalibur 2 sold like hot cakes on Xbox due to his inclusion. Theres just so many right reasons to include him over IMO any other guess character. A total badass that needs to come back into the limelight for this generation. All hail Al Simmons.
