Okay I'm getting annoyed. Why are people that ALREADY HAVE the Xbox beta getting PS4 codes... I still haven't gotten one and I signed up the day the site opened.. If anyone is willing to give me theirs that doesn't have a PS4 I would be extremely grateful.

thanks man - least i can contribute as i dont play these characters aside from subzero who i dropped a few months back. hope this is helpful to some. im gonna try to do jcage and jacqui tomorrow if i can and time allows but its all ready damn near 3 am over here now and my eyelids are falling like bricks lol.

Its on a new thread which will probably be merged but here it goes:


The block advantage of the current moves were changed:
12 is now -6 up from -11
21 is now +2 up from -7
11 is now +1 up from -4

It's definitely a great beta. The annoying thing is sometimes if I land a hit, the frames adjust and the opponent isn't at a disadvantage.

For example, say I do a jump in kick and it shows on my end that I knocked them down, the opponent somehow recovers and is still standing, usually blocking at this point. Or if I do sub-zeros overhead, it'll hit but then they're standing blocking again.

I do hope ps4 users will have the region locked lifted. It would be great to play everyone and have the lobbies full again. With the random frame skips and whatnot, this is easily 8/10 so far.

It's good to see pretty much everyone is hype after playing it, and its only the beta version. When the netcode is finalized it should be a thing of beauty.

I've noticed character dialogue is different when the characters mouths move. It's easier to see this time around. Before their lips hardly moved. This is between rounds

Hey tym I played the mkx online beta at a friends house on his ps4 and we live in europe.
The code said that we were not able to use the code but we had a american psn account and tried it from there and it actually worked so we played against people from america and the 2 and 3 bar connections were freaking good but it looked scary at times cause it would skip frames.
But the 4 bar connections were laggless like flawless. We had some amazing matches on it I would give the beta a 9 out of 10 i had fun

And if some one has a xbox one beta code or ps4 beta code for me
I would love to test it from my own home and record some matches for you to see.

they are talking about her roll.... normally in footsie game, when its your move after they d4 you she can roll imidiatewly after being blocked... and since the normal netcode on regular MKX.... is god awful, they cant react to an 8 frame move. with input delay being a factor in the normal client since the input delay is greater amount of frames than her 8 frame roll in bad connections

Ah. Well, if I'm playing against someone that has a pattern I'm going to let the ball roll rip. Can't really blame lag when some players do 3 d3s in a row on block over and over.

The only messed up thing are people who aren't getting randomly picked. Betas do this all the time, but its not fair that top players are the first choice to get codes even when they don't own the system. For example, Fly.

If u noticed all well known people got codes fast

I don't know why but it's super funny to me watching people cry about how they haven't gotten a beta code. Witnessing people on the NRS forums talk about how many hours they have put into the game online and basically demand a code for the beta is pretty hilarious to me.

Yea I got a double code and I didn't even sign up for the ps4 code only Xbox.

I gave it out to someone here on the forums but I still don't know why I got both

As others mentioned before, the net code feels good and combo's and reacting to your opponents offense is great. The skipping of frames is a bit overwhelming. It seems to not matter if it's a good connection or not, the stutter still occur some worse than others. Nonetheless, this is the beta and I'm sure these issues will get corrected once it officially goes live.
