General/Other - Erron Black What kind of changes would you like to see for erron in kp2?

he's down playing the shit out of Erron ma dude, 21122 gun cancel pressure mixed up with exsg is highly underrated, u can force the opponent to respect the string with conditioning
Thats not condtioning you can literally counter poke on reaction its not "underrated" you imbecile also im not downplaying anything dont jump into false conclusions , youre the same guy who thinks marksman is his best variation so im not going to bother further discussing with an "imbecile"

yall seriously overplaying this jumping out of f13xxBF3(ex), while its possible who the hell would try that when outlaw has his sand, gunslinger has its stance and marksman has its gun cancels/gun smack. I've yet to see a real player jump out of this defensive tech against erron that apparently makes him trash
Sand Toss is very punishable. There are interesting mind games, yes, but still, if the overhead is unsafe in all scenarios, then Erron, who is a 50/50 character and nothing else, is probably the only character who needs to use a bar of meter to make his low starter safe, while he has an unsafe overhead. He has to risk for his 50/50s and waste meter, while some others take the risk, but save the meter, and have other options besides relying on the 50/50. Marksman gun cancels on 21122 are interruptible, I'm pretty sure, so there is no threat there.

EDIT: Alright, I see your point: at least Marksman gun cancels have to be interrupted on a read, so yes, it opens the field for more mind games.

nah im just saying that the opponent jumping out of F13xxBF3(ex) is unlikely because erron can just cancel into one of those moves instead

First thing first is df1 is like 20f on startup ? Might be more lol + after that you're doing a string that starts with like 2 highs or one so there's plenty of time to react

I'm saying that the opponent has only 11 frames to react, only female hitboxes will whiff with gun cancel pressure so i pick cage when im fighting female chars. 21122 starts with a high. u can even bait pokes with 21122 gun cancel pressure and once they poke u just go straight into 21122 again

I meant if they do 21122 then do the gun cancel you can react to that which is like +20 , the poke bait is a part of the mind game though

To be honest 20 frames is still kind of pushing it for reactability, that is a lil bit on the inhuman side but juuust barely, but that being said I'm neither against you in this argument nor for you in this argument, just pointing something out, I personally believe that erron black is perfect as is, he has strengths, weaknesses, but the weaknesses aren't so overwhelming that is makes him suck and his strengths aren't so overwhelming that he is stupidly broken

I cant check , kinda in the middle of exams atm , my guess its 23 , even then the animation is really obvious to be fair.
Alright fair enough man, yes that is very fair and is totally reactable but maybe you should get off TYM and work on exams XD trust me even the smallest of distractions can end up spelling your doom, I learned this the hard way :(

Lol yeah but the thing is i have a few papers missing and someone sent them through phone , thanks for your concern though :p
 
you do realize when ur cancelling a move the startup changes because you are run cancelling right? Erron can dash out on the first frame of the gun cancel if the person is fast enough but thats impossible for any human to achieve. Theres a 12 frame gap in between the 21122 gun cancelling pressure

slightly faster SOS1
last bullet of SOS3 doesn't hit full screen
SOS2 damage scales as 1 hit in combos

Marksman:
+3 on 21122~GC (no changes to other GCs)
faster start up and backwalk on db1 (more evasive)
df1 damage 8% (down from 10%)
db2 -6 on block (same pushback)

Outlaw:
bugfix on f3 hitting two times
b211 better recovery & leaves opponent closer on hit (for use in some combos, considering db4 changes below)
14 frames startup on db4 (less prone to armor breaks and more consistent against jump-ins on wakeup)
less advantage on db4 on hit (max range dash b32u1 won't combo - run cancel needed)


General changes:
32 - faster startup on second hit
21122 - last hit -3 on block
f4 - less pushback
EX bf4 - +5 on hit
generic throw - 0 on hit

If they do consider buffs/changes for Erron, these would be perfect. When u say faster SOS1 do u mean he exits the stance faster?
